DragonGate’s Ishin Joins Death Vegas Invitacional

Current DragonGate standout Ishin Nishida has officially been invited to compete in New Japan Pro-Wrestling’s upcoming Death Vegas Invitacional, marking a major milestone in his young career.

Since debuting in 2021, Ishin has quickly carved out a reputation as one of DragonGate’s most compelling heels. During his tenure, he aligned himself with the villainous Z-Brats before transitioning into his current role as a member of Gaja Dokuro. His character work, combined with his in-ring intensity, has made him a standout presence within the promotion.

Inside the ring, Ishin employs a stiff, fast-paced hybrid of strong style and technical wrestling. His matches are marked by sharp striking, fluid transitions, and a level of physicality that consistently leaves audiences impressed. Despite his relatively short time in the business, he has already shown the composure and skill of a far more seasoned competitor.

Widely viewed as a rising young lion, Ishin’s trajectory has been steadily upward since his debut. Now, he faces a new challenge as he prepares to step into a New Japan ring for the first time—on one of the promotion’s most dangerous stages.

With some of the most dangerous and unconventional competitors in the world, Ishin’s debut will test not only his skill, but his toughness. For a wrestler already gaining momentum, the Death Invitational could prove to be a defining moment in his ascent.

The Death Vegas Invitacional will take place on Thursday April 16th at the Horseshoe Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada. It will feature a diverse and hard-hitting lineup, including El Phantasmo, Jun Kasai, El Desperado, Jordan Oliver, Alec Price, Masashi Takeda, Rina Yamashita, Matt Tremont, Daisuke Sasaki, Dragon Kid, Maki Itoh, Starlight Kid, Gringo Loco, Effy, and Jimmy Lloyd.
