Match One: Joey Janela vs. Mad Dog Connelly (2/27/2026)
This is a match from Warrior Wrestling’s Rumble at Rhinegeist 2 show. No commentary for this one as Mad Dog Connelly asserts his power advantage early. Corner charge misses and Joey Janela catches him with a back elbow and tosses him to the floor. They brawl through the crowd for a bit and Connelly tosses Joey into some fans at ringside. Suplex onto the apron gets a one count back in the ring for Mad Dog. Gutwrench suplex delivered and a back elbow puts Joey down and into a chinlock. Janela reverses an Irish whip into a belly to belly toss and both guys are down. Joey gets a sunset flip for two, then hits a dropkick. Facebuster gets two. Mad Dog swings Janela into the corner and chops away. A charge catches Joey’s boot however and Janela gets a tornado DDT for two. Rolling elbow lands and some corner clotheslines, but Mad Dog charges out with a dropkick and another gutwrench suplex. Very back and forth so far with not many sustained advantages. To the top where Janela hits a superplex and fires up. Again to the top and this time Connelly delivers a gutwrench superplex for a two count. Joey flips out of a neckbreaker, lands a cutter and gets two off that. He calls for the brainbuster and lands it for a close two count. They clothesline each other and exchange slaps. Mad Dog with a release German, but Joey matches him with his own. Out to the apron now for more chops until Joey hits a DVD. Joey misses a doublestomp leading to Mad Dog getting a powerslam. Jumping piledriver gets a close two count. Connelly puts Janela in s Hangman’s Neckbreaker to force the tapout and get the win. **¾
After the match Mad Dog chokes out Joey with his steel chain for good measure.
Match Two: Gringo Loco vs. Komander (2/27/2026)
Another from Warrior Wrestling’s Rumble at Rhinegeist 2 show. Komander shows off his Lucha skills and Gringo Loco returns the favor. So Komander gets a rana off the top rope and dive out to the floor. Flying senton misses and Gringo tells him to pause so he can play to the crowd, and then superkick Komander. Spinning sitout powerbomb gets two. Loco rips at the mask to heat from the crowd. He catches a springboard from Komander and plants him face first for a two count. Gringo gets an Air Raid Crash into a cutter for two. Corner clothesline misses allowing Komander to get a springboard lucha armdrag sending Loco to the floor. He follows with a rana over the top out to the floor. Gringo grabs a chair in frustration but swings and misses. Komander catches him in the gut with the chair and then sits Loco on it. Superkick knows him out of the chair and we head back inside. 450 splash gets two. Gringo catches him on a dive and slams him down out of a torture rack position. Sprinboard moonsault misses and Komander delivers a headscissor takedown. Tornado DDT puts Loco to the floor again and Komander does his walk the top rope spot ending with a dive onto Gringo, sending the crowd into a frenzy. Back in, a West Coast Pop gets two. Moonsault for another two count. To the top buckle where Gringo Loco manages a Spanish Fly for a two count. Split-legged moonsault gets another two. Komander strikes back with an enzuigiri and ranas Gringo off the ropes. He walks the ropes and lands a shooting star press for the win. Pretty damn wild match. ****
Match Three: B3CCA vs. Rayne Leverkusen (10/3/2025)
From EVE’s Global Women Strike IV show. 15-minute time limit. B3CCA takes Rayne Leverkusen down by the hair, but she kips up and clotheslines B3CCA down. Fisherman’s suplex gets a two count for Leverkusen. B3CCA goes to the hair pull again to regain control and hits a facewash kick for two. Hangman’s neckbreaker (by the hair) and some corner attacks follow, then B3CCA hits a vertical suplex. Rayne fights back with some clotheslines and a pumphandle suplex. B3CCA rolls through a pin attempt and gets a doublestomp and continues to antagonize the fans. Due to that, she runs into a spinebuster and Rayne puts on a Lion Tamer. B3CCA rolls out to the apron and clotheslines Leverkusen on the top rope, and hits another doublestomp for two. Headscissors applied and a cover gets two. They trade German suplexes with B3CCA getting the better of it. She charges the corner but nobody is home, and Rayne delivers a headbutt and a facewash kick. Rayne climbs but B3CCA hits a cutter for two. Now B3CCA climbs and delivers a 450 splash but only gets two. She looks for a Heatseeker but Rayne flips out of it and hits a high kick followed by a Canadian Destroyer. Step-up Shining Wizard finishes this one for Leverkusen. **¾
Match Four: Orange Cassidy vs. Taka Michinoku (4/5/2019)
This is from GCW on the Joey Janela’s Spring Break 3 show. Taka Michinoku looks for a test of strength but Orange Cassidy keeps his hands in his pockets. Cassidy does a slow motion shouldertackle and wiggles out of a waistlock. Worth noting he still has his sunglasses on throughout this so far. Orange with a dropkick and a kip-up and breaks out the dangerous leg kicks, so Taka removes the sunglasses which gets Cassidy to finally take his hands out of his pockets. Orange with a series of (soft) strikes, and Taka responds by poking the eyes. Throat thrust gets two. Kneestrike in the corner and a Shining Wizard for another two. Taka charges but runs into a boot and a crossbody for two. Superkick scores for Orange to get him a two count. Cassidy goes to the top but can’t reach Taka with a flying elbow. He gets a big right hands, then stops to take a sip of orange juice. Taka gives him a superkick and the Michinoku Driver closes this one out. Basically almost a complete comedy match. *½
Match 5: Tyree Taylor vs. Dustin Waller (2/19/2026)
A Wrestling Open match from the #1 Contender tournament at the Mean Streets show. They do a bit early on where the fans chant for Dustin Waller to lose the durag and Tyree Taylor snatches it. Knees to the gut of Waller and a big forearm send him down. Taylor tosses him out of the corner, but Waller gets a springboard clothesline for a two count. Dustin then removes the durag of Taylor for payback (only seems fair). A leg lariat puts Taylor down. More durag shenanigans ensue as Waller does some ground and pound. Another springboard attempt is countered with a cutter on the top rope. Taylor slams Dustin down and delivers a Pounce for two. Discus lariat is avoided and Waller gets a Lethal Injection for two. Waller misses a top-rope attack and tries a tilt-a-whirl DDT but gets countered into a Falcon Arrow for two. Taylor sits Dustin up on the top buckle only for Waller to slip out and superkick Taylor in the head. Waller hits a cutter off the top rope and follows it with a 450 splash, which only gets two somehow. I would have bet on that as the finish. Dustin talks some trash and slaps Taylor, so Tyree headbutts him down but can’t quite get the discus lariat yet. Waller tries another Lethal Injection but gets caught on the rebound and hit with a big sitout powerbomb for the Taylor win. Last five minutes were great. ***
Final Thoughts: Definitely a mix of different types of matches here. Gringo Loco vs. Komander I believe is the best of the batch and worth going out of your way to see. The Wrestling Open match delivered as well.
