ATLANTA, Ga. — One of the Southeast’s most respected professional wrestling schools is set to debut a new showcase aimed at highlighting the next generation of in-ring talent.
WWA4, based in Atlanta, will host its first-ever A4 Tournament, which began on February 12, but continues every Thursday for the next few weeks. The point-based competition is designed not only to test competitors inside the ring but also to evaluate their performance beyond traditional wins and losses.
The Atlanta school has built a strong reputation over the years, producing notable alumni such as Terry Yaki, Austin Theory, Jonathan Gresham and Alex Kane. Current head trainer AR Fox, who has competed in both All Elite Wrestling (AEW) and Ring of Honor (ROH), continues to lead the program. WWA4 alumni have gone on to compete in promotions across the professional wrestling landscape.
Unlike standard elimination brackets, the A4 Tournament will operate on a scoring system. Wrestlers will accumulate points not only through match results but also based on promo ability, strategy and composure under pressure. Organizers say the format is intended to measure overall performance and future potential rather than simply determining the most technically dominant competitor.
“This tournament isn’t just about being the best wrestler,” organizers have stated. “It’s about showing why these competitors represent the future of A4.”
The winner of the tournament will earn a championship opportunity for the WWA4 Title.
Fans can watch the tournament matches live every Thursday for the next few weeks on WWA4’s official YouTube channel.
