Overall:  Scars and Stripes was another consistently solid show from AAW in 2012.  In fact, this might have been my favorite AAW show so far this year.  Everything that you expected to deliver came through and there were even a few surprises in the undercard from Whitmer/Beck and the Irish Airborne match.  The two main selling points on this show were the co-main events.  Finlay hinted that this could have been his final match in the United States, adding a great deal of historical value to Scars and Stripes.  Additionally, the main event paid off some aspects of the ongoing storyline in the AAW Heavyweight Title picture and was fittingly the match of the night.  You really can’t go wrong with this show and it earns a solid recommendation.
