Overall:  War is Coming was not as consistent as most AAW shows in 2012 but it’s carried pretty convincingly by its top two matches.  Richards and Young complemented each other perfectly while the main event featured Elgin and Callihan at their best as they managed to top their PWG match.  Seriously, these kind of main events will continue to put AAW on the map as one of the top independent promotions.  While there were some head-scratchers on the card (the semi-main event receiving eighteen minutes), the two aforementioned matches make War is Coming recommendable.
