Overall:  Caught in the Spider’s Den improved upon the previous two shows this year and this is the type of event that I’d like CHIKARA to produce every time out.  The undercard was a breeze to get through and the top three matches delivered.  UltraMantis Black and Colt Cabana had an extremely entertaining match that you’d only find in CHIKARA, the atomicos match was a lot of fun, and the main event was a fine farewell to Vin Gerard.  This show also contained the debut of the GEKIDO and it’ll be interesting to see how that storyline progresses and differentiates itself from the BDK invasion.  Caught in the Spider’s Den was an intriguing and worthwhile show on a few different levels and it earns a recommendation.
