Match Two: Elijah Blum vs. Ahura (9/28/2025)

Heavy strikes follow and Ahura hits a big bicycle kick sending Blum rolling to the floor. Ahura gives him a slap, firing Elijah up as he hits a crossbody. Back to the floor for a chop exchange. Ahura misses one and hits the ringpost, giving Blum some momentum. That’s brief, with Ahura hitting another boot as they fight amongst the crowd. Blum gets a running DVD into a bunch of chairs, which looked pretty gnarly. Ahura throws a chair at his head and lariats Blum into some chairs as a receipt. He heads back in and performs a springboard corkscrew dive onto Blum still on the floor. Back inside, Blum somehow is up first and hits a running forearm and locks on an Anaconda Vice, but Robin Christopher Forver rings the bell, causing Blum to release the hold. Ahura delivers a big lariat and then another. A running lariat connects and gets a close two. Blum headbutts him and hits the Parting Gift, but Ahura kicks out at one. Ahura gets a low blow behind the referee’s back, hits a jumping piledriver and gets the pin. This was hard-hitting and lots of fun, with some big spots mixed in at the right times. ***½
