Several days ago, Adam Abdalla, founder of Orange Crush, known for combining art and professional wrestling, revealed a new project in the works, PRODUCE.
PRODUCE will be combining the art of professional wrestling and music, as well as other forms of art, to bring a unique perspective on the sport. Each event will be co-produced by an active professional wrestler, meaning the matches will be booked by that person(s).
From PRODUCE:
All shows are co-produced (booked and curated) by an active professional wrestler with a unique perspective, co-headlining and helping construct the undercard of each show (4 matches) introducing new talent to a broader audience.
Every show features a musical act or DJ chosen with the input of that show’s co-producer, featuring a one-song performance at the beginning and end of each event.
PRODUCE will spotlight local and world-renowned talent both in and out of the ring, including musicians, photographers, content creators, graphic designers, visual artists, apparel makers, and more.
PRODUCE will not establish a creative economy within professional wrestling. PRODUCE is committed to support the subculture and the talented, passionate members of the community who have given so much of themselves to it.
PRODUCE celebrates the minds, minds, bodies, and creative spirit of professional wrestlers.
PRODUCE is wrestling for the talent, the fans who know ball, and the ones who want to to love it.
