Yesterday, Fightful.com received a comment from TNA Wrestling President Carlos Silva about TNA talents being pulled from shows that they were scheduled to share the ring with AEW talents on, citing ‘partner conflicts’ as the reason for these instances. One match effected by this change was TNA’s Nic Nemeth facing AEW World Champion MJF at Create A Pro Wrestling’s Monumental Moment event.
Last night, Brian Myers of Create A Pro gave an update on the card. It will now be Nic Nemeth squaring off against Bear Bronson. As for the AEW World Champion MJF, he has put out an open challenge.
TNA also pulled X-Division Champion Leon Slater from his scheduled match against Ricochet at WrestleCon’s Mark Hitchcock Memorial Supershow in Las Vegas a week before the event.
Monumental Moment will take place on Friday, May 1st at All Sportz Melville in Melville, New York. The event will also feature Gabby Forza taking on AEW’s Kris Statlander.
