There are so many independent wrestling shows during Mania week that it is going to be hard to pick which ones to watch. Here are some shows that may be flying under the radar that I think will be great shows.

Pandamonium: Pro Wrestling had one of my favorite shows at WrestleMania week last you and looks to be coming back with another card of interesting matchups.
In the main event, Amira will defend the Pandemonium Pro Championship against Janai Kai and Saya Lida. This is a match that you will not see anywhere else involving three of the top female wrestlers in the world. Amira has been dominating the PNW, with her power and constant evolution of her wrestling. Janai is the kick demon and has some of the best striking that you will ever see. Saya has been at top star in Stardom, which many call the best promotion in the world.
In another match that could only happen on Mania week, Alexis Lee take on Joseline Navarro. Alexis Lee is a top wrestler out of Singapore and has held multiple championships in Asia, as well as appearing multiple time for TJPW. Joseline has been on an incredible tear lately, taking on top stars in top promotions. She is someone that has fought for every opportunity that she has gotten and is going to surely use this opportunity to shine.
One of the matches that I am most looking forward to on the show is No Bail Posted and Juni Underwood against Steven Bradley and C4. No Bail Posted is a recently formed tag team of J Bouji and Devious Cass. They haven’t been a tag team very long, but have impressed everywhere they have gone with their attitude and in-ring skills. Joining them is Juni Underwood, who has learned from Speedball Mike Bailey and Cheeseburger. He is very athletic, hits hard and is continuously getting better. Juni won the Prospect Cup at Power Pro Lucha, solidifying him as one of the top young wrestlers. Standing across the ring from them is C4, and Steven Bradley. C4 has a lot more experience then anyone on the team for the east coast, as they have been teaming since 2019 and have won championships in top promotions like DEFY and Prestige. Steven Bradley is going to be the strongest person in the match, but he is also very athletic. It will be interesting to see how the other team counters his strength. Along with these matches, you will also see Johnnie Robbie, Australian star Frankie B, Daisuke Sasaki, and much more. 10 matches in total, 4 of which are women’s matches and all of which you are not going to see anywhere else. The event will take place on Wednesday 4/15 at 3pm local Las Vegas time.

Another show that will have some crazy matches will be PWU x Hybrid Wrestling’s “Midnight Xpress”. This has two multi women matches that are insane. One with established stars Mercedes Martinez, Priscilla Kelly and Lacey Lane and one with four of the top young prospects, Ruthie Jay, Brittnie Brooks, Mia Friday, and Jazmin Allure.
You also have a couple insane, hard hitting match ups. Gangrel, who is still in incredible shape and can put on a hell of a match, will face one of the best deathmatch wrestlers of all time in Matt Tremont. I feel like literally anything could happen in the match. And if that wasn’t crazy enough, a wrestler that has been all around the globe these past few years and has solidified himself as one of the best independent wrestlers in the world today, 1 Called Manders will face off against someone who is possibly not human in PCO.
In what they are calling a Skywalker Scramble, five very different personalities are facing off. An independent wrestling legend in Lucky 13, someone who is one of the best hybrid wrestlers in the country, Tarzan Duran, the mother of American Deathmatch, Mickie Knuckles, a new face on the scene, Angel Metro, and the wild card Deklan Grant. This match should crazy, high speed violence.
On top of that we have a very unique three way tag match featuring Bustah and the Brain, the new Backseat Boyz and Joey Janela and Effy. This will be interesting to see how the Backseat Boyz will be able to hang with four of GCW’s finest. This is a stacked card and I didn’t even mention VNDL48 in a 6 man tag, Angel Orsini, Kiera Hogan, Simon Gotch and more. This looks to be a really fun show and it will be airing live on TrillerTV+ on Wednesday April 15 at midnight.

From my count there are five all women’s shows on Mania week, three of which are Joshi focused. The one that I am most intrigued by is SPARK.
SPARK looks to have a lot of unique matches with wrestlers from multiple different promotions. The main event will feature the SPARK champion, Hazuki, against TNA Knockout Jada Stone. Hazuki had one of the best matches of Mania week at SPARK last year in the main event against Lena Kross, and I do not doubt that a lot of people will be talking about this match when it is over.
This show will feature stars from around the world. From Stardom there will be Rina, Natsupoi, Hazuki, Starlight Kid, AZM and Aya Sakura. From the US, AEW’s Maya World, WWEID’s Airica Demia, independent superstars, Jazmin Allure, Dani Mo, Aleah James, Vipress and more. Also joining this group is one of the top wrestlers to come out of Singapore, Alexis Lee and the SPARK Joshi Atlantic Champion SAKI, who is also the Color’s Champion in Japan. This is a unique show that will be sure to have some matches that you have never seen before and may never see again. SPARK will be one of the final shows of the weekend, as it will be at noon on Sunday.

Another women’s show and the one that appears to have the most women of any show on Mania week is Ladies Night Out 16. This event will feature over 70 women from WWEID, WOW, NWA, Juggalo Championship Wrestling, OVW, Reality of Wrestling, AEW and more.
Izzy Moreno issued a challenge to Jazmine Allure for the LNO Championship. They fought once before in one of Izzy’s first matches and her debut match in Mission Pro. This was a match that showed the world that Izzy was not just that little girl anymore. Jazmine got the win, but Izzy won a lot of people’s respect. LNO recently announced that Izzy will get her title shot, but she will not be the only challenger. Joining Izzy in this match will be the former LNO Champion, La Rosa Negra. For a special match like this we need a special referee and we have one. One of the best female wrestlers ever in Jazz.
Also scheduled for the event is WWEID star Notorious Mimi against American Gladiator J-Rod. Both of these women are tall, powerful and on the rise. We will also see a team of wrestlers from Pittsburgh, Dani Mo and Ray Lyn take on Violent Romance, in what could be a very interesting match. Nixon Newell and Miranda Alize may be very close as a tag team, but it seems like Dani and Ray Lyn have been around each other their entire careers. In what could only be described as a match where anything can happen, the PWO, Tara Zep, Lindsey Snow and Su Yung take on Mickie Knuckles, Haley J, and Gypsy Mac. These 6 women leave of trail of violence and chaos anywhere they go. On top of that, we have WWEID wrestler, Airica Demina against former NXT and TNA wrestler Steph De Lander, Thunder Rosa against Vert Vixen, NWA star Tiffany Nieves, Fallyn Grey, a rare US appearance from Kingsley, and so many more. This show will take place Thursday April 16 at 10 pm and will air on the Titlematch Network.

The final show that I am very interested in checking out is St. Louis Anarchy. Charli Evans will make her return to take on the WWEID Women’s Champion, Laynie Luck. Charli, who is currently one of the top wrestlers out of Australia surprised us all when she returned to the US to take on Gary Jay in a hard hitting match. This match will be very hard hitting as well, but Laynie is a completely different wrestler than Gary Jay and has been incredibly impressive since winning the WWEID title.
Another women’s battle that should be really fun is Ashlyn Alexander against Shazza McKenzie. Shazza is the veteran in this match and has all the tools to come out on top, but Ashlyn is one of the fastest rising stars on the indies. Ashlyn is recently coming off a show stealing match against Racheal Ellering at Girlfight and a victory in a four person match at the last SLA show.
In what should be an absolutely insane match Unsigned and Don’t Care’s Aaron Willams and Gary Jay, face off against The Cowboy Way (1 Called Manders and Thomas Shire). You should be able to hear some of the strikes and chops all the way back in St. Louis. Cowboy Way has been traveling all over the world the past couple years, while Unsigned and Don’t Care have been the gatekeepers of the Midwest and neither team will give an inch once the bell rings. Also on this card will be ROH star, Billie Starkz against Davey Vega, Anakin Murphy defending the Gateway Championship, and Chase Holliday against Alex Duke.
There are so many shows going on Mania Week, starting on Wednesday and going through Sunday. If you can’t make it there live, you can catch a lot of the shows on IWTV, TrillerTV, Titlematch Network, and Youtube.
