Things will start heating up quickly as we approach “EVOLVE 6: TBA vs. TBA” on November 20th at the Ace Arena in Union City, NJ, just two minutes from the Lincoln Tunnel. -We will have several match announcements next week right here on the EVOLVEwrestling.com News Ticker. Homicide’s match will be announced on Monday.
-Up In Smoke of Cheech & Cloudy have been signed for EVOLVE 6. They are currently 3-0 in the tag team division and are the Wins Leader and Longest Winning Streak Leader.
-Johnny Gargano (3-2) has been signed for EVOLVE 6.
-EVOLVE officials will be scouting the DGUSA Seminar/Tryouts on Oct. 29th in Fall River, MA and Oct. 30th in Rahway, NJ for new talent. There are still spots open on both days. Wrestlers from the DGUSA Seminar/Tryout might even be booked as soon as November 20th. -If you saw the ending of the EVOLVE 4 DVD, Bobby Fish’s future in EVOLVE was in question. Now Fish says he’s “looking to start things over.” Fish has nothing to be ashamed of, as he has been in some of EVOLVE’s greatest matches and has taken on some of the best wrestlers anywhere in the EVOLVE ring.
-Austin Aries recently scouted Chuck Taylor in his match against Claudio Castagnoli on the “EVOLVE 3: Rise Or Fall” DVD. Aries knows he has his work cut out for him as he “morphs” in EVOLVE.
-Speaking of Chuck Taylor, he has filed a lawsuit against EVOLVE. We don’t have details yet.
-Jimmy Jacobs can clinch the EVOLVE Wins Leader category for 2010 if he wins on November 20th. If he loses, it would take Drake Younger, Chuck Taylor and Johnny Gargano all losing for Jacobs to be the sole Wins Leader.
-Drake Younger can be the first competitor to go to 4-0 with a victory on November 20th.
