Open the Dream Gate Champion: Masato Yoshino
Open the Triangle Gate Champions: CIMA, Gamma & Genki Horiguchi
Open the Brave Gate Champion: PAC
Open the Twin Gate Champions: Susumu Yokosuka & K-ness
Open the Freedom Gate Champion: BxB Hulk
Don’t recognize the city this show is taped from? That’s likely because this is one of Dragon Gate’s nothing house shows. Here’s hoping the matches are good enough to make up for the likely lack of atmospheric excitement.
Remember when Masato Yoshino beat YAMATO to win the Open the Dream Gate Championship? Gaora TV does, and they remind us of it. Yoshino decided to pick his challengers by lottery, and the first lottery winner was Ryo Saito. Saito is a former Dream Gate Champion himself, having defeated the seemingly unstoppable Magnitude Kishiwada in 2006. Saito hasn’t challenged for the belt in two and a half years, and he thinks he’s due.

Run-of-the-mill action here, with the exception of Saito breaking out his heel finisher to intimidate Yoshino. After the match Saito talks trash about the upcoming title match.

Naoki Tanisaki {DD} & Yasushi Kanda {DD} vs. K-ness & Susumu Yokosuka
They show clips of Tanisaki’s turn on World-1 before the match. Yokosuka took an Implant during the chaotic events, and the tainted victory made him rip up his winner’s contract and leave his belt in the ring. Seems he’s looking for revenge here. The Drunkers attack before the bell. Kanda hits Yokosuka with a shoulder tackle. Yokosuka hits a back elbow. K-ness hits Tanisaki with a leg lariat. He dropkicks Tanisaki’s face. Yokosuka follows suit for 2. He throws Kanda across the ring by his hair. Tanisaki chokes K-ness with a t-shirt. He gets a legsweep and puts on an armbar. K-ness gets to the ropes. He hits the John Woo and the Ryus for the win at 12:31 shown of 14:22. Dull match overall, with a really crappy finish to top it off. I’m still waiting on the point of this show being featured on this episode of Infinity.

After the match KAGETORA and YAMATO discuss a singles match to decide which one of them will join Cyber Kong and Takagi in their Triangle Gate match against the WARRIORS. It will happen on October 10th.
