Naruki Doi {W1}, Masato Yoshino {W1} & BxB Hulk {W1} vs. Naoki Tanisaki {DD}, Kzy {DD} & Yasushi Kanda {DD} [Unit Termination Match]
World-1 has actually staved off a Unit Termination Match before, beating Real Hazard and Typhoon (with Typhoon having to split up) and going on to survive almost two more additional years until this bout. The Drunkers powder World-1 to start. Everyone brawls around the building. Tanisaki hits Hulk with a suplex onto a chair pile. In the ring he works over Doi’s leg with a chair. Kzy follows suit. Doi hits a spinebuster and puts on a Boston crab. Yoshino hits a supercharged dropkick to the groin. Hulk boots Kzy to the floor. He hits Tanisaki with the uranage. He hits Kanda with a missile dropkick. Kanda hits Yoshino with the Manhattan drop. Yoshino puts on the Coumori. Kzy grabs Yoshino’s crotch to make the save. Hulk hits Kzy with a trio of ax kicks for 2. Kzy hits a dropkick. He disorients Hulk and hits the B-Boy for 2. Hulk hits the Mouse. He hits a capture suplex. World-1 triple-teams Kzy. Yoshino hits a chair-assisted shotgun senton. Hulk hits a dustpan-assisted First Flash for 2. Kanda hits the John Woo. Tanisaki hits the DH. Kanda hits an exploder. Tanisaki hits the Casanova for 2. Kanda hits the flying elbowdrop for 2. Kzy hits KZ Time for 2. Hulk dropkicks the red box into Tanisaki’s face. Yoshino hits a chair shot. He and Doi hit a Sling Blade Bomb. Hulk ties Kanda and Kzy together on the floor. With them struggling, World-1 looks to destroy Tanisaki. Doi hits the Doi 555. Hulk hits an ax kick. Doi hits the Bakatare Sliding Kick. Yoshino says not to finish him yet. He hits the Torbellino. Tanisaki bleeds as Yoshino locks him in the Sol Naciente. Dr. Muscle runs out to make the save. PAC and Kotoka chase him off. Kanda hits Doi’s knee with the red box. Kzy goes for the Impact but Doi blocks with a backdrop. Kanda hits another red box attack. Kzy hits a blue box attack. They each hit another box attack. Kanda hits the Ryus onto the red box for 2. Doi gets a schoolboy on Tanisaki for 2. He gets the V9 Clutch for the win at 12:12 shown of 18:33. While chaotic and full of as much plunder and gaga as almost any Deep Drunkers match, I’ve got to say the group went out with the best match of their tenure. With a lot on the line the crowd was invested, and never for a single moment was the match boring. Tanisaki might have something as a heel after all.
Rating: ***½
After the match Tanisaki complains that the Drunkers shouldn’t have to disband after such an indecisive finish. Doi disagrees and the two teams brawl. Yoshino holds Tanisaki for the Bakatare Sliding Kick, but Doi hits it on Yoshino! He hugs Tanisaki! Tanisaki hits Yoshino with the red box and Doi hits him with the Muscular Bomb!!! Tanisaki hits Hulk with the Implant. Kanda hits Kotoka with a chair. PAC tries to attack Doi and gets hit by Kanda with the Ryus. Doi gets on the microphone and tells Yoshino that he never should have had aspirations to be Dream Gate Champion, as World-1 was supposed to be made up of minions for Doi. He’s leaving World-1 to start a new stable with Tanisaki, Kanda, Kzy and Dr. Muscle, who reveals himself to be Takuya Sugawara. Kenichiro Arai asks Doi how he can start a group when the stipulation says they had to disband. Kzy tells him that it’s a new group and that Arai won’t be a part of it. Kanda smacks Arai with a chair. Doi talks some more trash and looks to cut Yoshino’s hair, but K-neSuka runs out and chases off the new evil group. Yoshino tells the Twin Gate Champions that he needs their help to fight this new menace. K-ness is eager to help. Next month K-neSuka will team with Yoshino and Hulk to take on Doi, Sugawara, Tanisaki and Kanda. Tanisaki rips up the Deep Drunkers shirt, and the nameless heel group poses for photos.

He hits a double stomp. KAGETORA hits Horiguchi with an enziguiri. Kong and Takagi hit a double shoulder tackle. Kong misses an avalanche and Horiguchi hits Takagi with a reverse DDT. Back in the ring CIMA dropkicks Takagi. He hits another dropkick and a senton. He hits a running kick. Takagi hits a headbutt. He blocks the Nakayubi. He powerbombs Horiguchi and slams CIMA onto the little guy. He hits a senton. Horiguchi catches Kong with the Backslide from Heaven for 2. Kong comes back with a lariat to Horiguchi and Gamma. Takagi keeps Gamma from hitting Kong with a miracle backdrop. Kong hits the elevated elbowdrop for 2. He hits a powerbomb for 2. Gamma collapses before Takagi can hit the Pumping Bomber. He spits in Takagi’s face and hits a lariat. Kong hits a lariat. CIMA hits a missile dropkick. KAGETORA hits a leg lariat. Horiguchi hits a brainbuster. KAGETORA gets the Kagenui for 2. CIMA hits Takagi with the Schwein and the Meteora but Kong won’t let him make the cover. Gamma canes Kong but CIMA can only cover for 2. THIS IS AMAZING! Horiguchi and Gamma hit a double Tokarev. CIMA hits the Mona Lisa Overdrive!!! He hits another Schwein, a punch to the neck and the Meteora for the win at 13:43 shown of 25:33. This match had a lot of build, and the pressure on it to be awesome was strong. It lived up to that pressure in my opinion, and then some. This was the best Triangle Gate match in a long while, definitely the best of 2010 so far.

After the match CIMA talks about how much the WARRIORS needed this win tonight, after title losses by himself & Gamma, as well as by Saito. He talks about Yoshino’s Dream Gate lottery. He’s decided that he wants to be the Dream Gate Champion one more time in his career, so he accepts the match at the Gate of Destiny.
In the back Tanisaki approaches the WARRIORS. With Sugawara and Kanda at his back he demands a shot at the Triangle Gate belts. More on that in a bit.
We skip ahead to October 24th in Saga for CIMA {W5} & Gamma {W5} vs. Masato Yoshino {W1} & BxB Hulk {W1}. CIMA dusts off the Mad Splash to finish Hulk. Dusting off an old finisher didn’t work for Ryo Saito, but perhaps CIMA will have better luck. After the match Naruki Doi comes out to tell Yoshino that if his team wins the upcoming eight-man tag match against World-1 he wants to be included in the Dream Gate match at Gate of Destiny.
PAC © {W1} vs. K-ness [Open the Brave Gate Championship] gets digest treatment as well. I’m not sure what Gaora has against this matchup, as the last time these two met on Infinity the finished product was pretty lame, reportedly the fault of Gaora’s editing. After the match Dragon Kid comes out to set up his shot at the Brave Gate belt for the Gate of Destiny PPV in November.
CIMA © {W5}, Gamma © {W5} & Genki Horiguchi © {W5} vs. Naoki Tanisaki, Takuya Sugawara & Yasushi Kanda [Open the Triangle Gate Match] ALSO gets digest treatment. The match took place on October 25th in Nobeoka. It’s stuff like this that makes episodes like Infinity 192 all the more frustrating. The evil trio finally unseats the WARRIORS after a blue-box assisted Implant by Tanisaki on Horiguchi. After the match YAMATO comes out crap on the WARRIORS. Horiguchi and Kid take offense, causing something amazing to happen. Kid, Horiguchi & Ryo Saito vs. YAMATO, Shingo Takagi & Cyber Kong gets set for November 5th in Korakuen Hall. What that essentially gives us is a Do Fixer vs. New Hazard match!
The show ends with Gamma getting another shot at K-neSuka’s Twin Gate titles at the Gate of Destiny. Nobody in the WARRIORS currently has time to team with him, so his partner is a mystery for now.
