Remember when Naruki Doi turned on Masato Yoshino? In case you didn’t Infinity is happy to remind you. He helped World-1 destroy the Deep Drunkers, but then joined Tanisaki’s now-nameless crew. Takuya Sugawara returned and Kenichiro Arai was kicked out of the group. K-neSuka allied with what remained of World-1 and an elimination match between the two teams was made. Doi told Yoshino that if his team won he should be included in the Dream Gate match at the Gate of Destiny. That would make it the first three-way for the title ever.

Yoshino blocks the Muscular Bomb and gets the Riverina Special for the win at 21:22 shown of 31:27, keeping Doi out of the main event at the Gate of Destiny. The first half of this match was painfully boring and sometimes downright strange. On the bright side, all of the eliminations were creative and the action between them was mostly fun. The last stretch between Doi and Yoshino was predictably amazing. It’s sad that the first chunk of the match was so lame, because this could have been one of the best Dragon Gate matches of the year instead of simply a spectacular match highlighted by the first confrontation between Speed and Muscle.
Rating: ****

Arai is still wearing Deep Drunkers gear for Masaaki Mochizuki {Z} vs. Kenichiro Arai. The first sign of his distance from the group comes when he gives his beer bottle to the referee. He also shows signs of motivation, hitting Mochizuki with a suicide dive and going for (but missing) the 450 splash. Mochizuki gets the win with a brainbuster. After the match he invites Arai to join the Veteran Army and be on the Zetsurin team in the Triangle Gate match at the Gate of Destiny. Arai accepts.
CIMA {W5} & Gamma {W5} vs. Anthony W. Mori {Z} & Don Fujii {Z} is actually the first time Mori has been on Dragon Gate television in 2010. That’s INSANE. His final match will see him team with Masato Yoshino, BxB Hulk, Super Shisa, K-ness & Susumu Yokosuka and battle the entire Veteran Army consisting of CIMA, Ryo Saito, Masaaki Mochizuki, Don Fujii, Dragon Kid, Genki Horiguchi & Gamma.
