PAC © {W1} vs. YAMATO {K} [Open the Brave Gate Championship Match]
YAMATO pinned PAC on October 13th in a triple threat match also featuring Kenichiro Arai, so PAC asked for this match to get his win back. Aside from that YAMATO has been having nothing but bad luck lately, so he needs this win. PAC takes YAMATO down to start. They trade holds on the mat. They trade dropkicks and YAMATO hits a suicide dive. Back in the ring PAC hits a standing SSP. YAMATO misses a charge and falls to the floor. PAC misses a dive so YAMATO dropkicks his knee. YAMATO stomps on the foot and hits an enziguiri of his own. PAC blocks an enziguiri by landing on his feet, but that only hurts his leg more. He hits a superkick but can’t capitalize. He hits a high kick and a phoenix splash for 2. He hits a sunset bomb. YAMATO crotches him up top and hits a dropkick. He hits a superplex for 2. They trade stiff elbows until YAMATO hits a big boot. PAC climbs the corner and falls onto his back to escape. He hits the shooting star kick and the 360 shooting star press for the win at 16:20 shown of 22:04. PAC’s selling came and went, but he still put on a MUCH better show against YAMATO than BxB Hulk would on the upcoming PPV. Not quite the classic some were expecting, but really good given World-1 members’ apparent unwillingness to sell for YAMATO.
