This was a bit of a plodding match towards the beginning, but it got rather enjoyable towards the end. Joey worked very hard to show the frustration he was going through the match, by going outside to give himself pep talks and you could feel the desperation he had towards the end of the match. While not a great match, it was still a very enjoyable match. ***1/2

After the match, Colt helps Joey to his feet and extends a hand to Joey. Joey hesitates and teases a handshake, but walks out on Colt again looking incredibly disappointed as Colt poses with the belt.

OVERALL
They built the main event very well throughout the show with the two sitdown interviews with Joey & Colt. I thought the match delivered higher than I expected as well, especially for two guys who are not really known for their seriousness when it comes to wrestling. The other two matches on the show enjoyable for what they were. It’s just a shame that since this was the last show before Colt lost the NWA title, that we will not get to see what else NWA Hollywood may have wanted to do when Colt had the belt. If you are a fan of him and/or Joey Ryan, definitely check out this episode. It can be watched at (along with every other episode of NWA Hollywood) at www.NWAHollywood.com
