Masaaki Mochizuki {Z} vs. KAGETORA {K}

They trade strikes until KAGETORA hits the Hangetsu. Mochizuki hits an axe kick to the back and the Twister III for the win at 11:29 shown of 13:23. The arm and legwork went nowhere, but the rest of the match was good back-and-forth action. This could have been a lot more if they’d focused. Now nothing stands between Mochizuki and his Dream Gate title match.

Much appreciated too, as Tanisaki rarely gets to shine the way he did here. Saito and YAMATO will meet again with Genki Horiguchi and Shingo Takagi as their respective partners in a Twin Gate title match.
Rating: ***

The show ends with hype for Dead or Alive on May 5th. Referee Yagi gives World-1 a shot at the Blood Warriors’ Triangle Gate Championships in April, but the babyface group will have to put their stable’s existence up as collateral. That match was supposed to happen earlier but the earthquake/tsunami cancelled the PPV on which it was scheduled.
