Rating: **¼

And just after reviewing this match I realized that I’d already reviewed it for the Glorious Gate TV special. At the very least it’s good to know my ratings are consistent. Sigh.

Masato Yoshino {W1}, PAC {W1}, BxB Hulk {W1} & Susumu Yokosuka {W1} vs. Naruki Doi {BW}, CIMA {BW}, Ricochet {BW} & Naoki Tanisaki {BW}
The Warriors attack before the bell. CIMA controls Hulk for a while. CIMA avoids a dropkick and Hulk avoids an elbowdrop. Doi hits Yoshino with a shoulder tackle. Yoshino avoids a dropkick and hits a supercharged head scissor takedown. Doi and CIMA abuse Yokosuka over Tanisaki’s knees. Tanisaki hits the DH. Hulk hits the Mouse. Yokosuka hits the Jumbo no Kachi to eliminate Tanisaki. Hulk and PAC hit a double elbow on Ricochet for 2. Hulk puts on an abdominal stretch. Yokosuka hits a backbreaker. PAC hits a corkscrew moonsault off of Yokosuka’s back. PAC and Hulk kick Yoshino by mistake and then CIMA and Doi knock them to the floor, eliminating them. That allows them to bring Tanisaki back into the match. The Warriors gang up on Yoshino. CIMA hits the Venus and Iconoclasm. Ricochet hits a running SSP for 2. Tanisaki hits the Casanova. Yoshino rolls him up to eliminate him again. PAC gets revived. He hits CIMA with an enziguiri. Yoshino gets a crucifix bomb to eliminate CIMA. Hulk is now revived. PAC misses a dive on Ricochet. Ricochet avoids the German suplex. He hits a low blow and rolls PAC up to eliminate him, reviving Tanisaki (who stole the revival from CIMA). Yoshino hits Tanisaki with a vertical suplex. Hulk kicks Yokosuka by mistake. Doi hits Yokosuka with the Blue Thunder Bomb. Tanisaki hits the Neji to Hashi for 2. Ricochet goes for the double moonsault but Hulk shoves him to the floor, eliminating him and reviving PAC. PAC hits a plancha on Ricochet, eliminating himself and reviving Ricochet (stealing it from CIMA again). PAC feels dumb, but that was a cool way to show how much he hates Ricochet. Hulk hits Doi with an axe kick for 2. He hits an enziguiri. Doi tries to send Hulk to the floor. Tanisaki hits the FH but Hulk stays on the apron. Hulk hits Doi with a dropkick. He hits the First Flash. He misses the Phoenix Splash. Doi hits the Doi 555 and the Bakatare Sliding Kick to eliminate Hulk and revive CIMA. Tanisaki hits Yoshino with a kneelift. After a good fight on the apron, Yoshino is sent to the floor when Tanisaki sacrifices himself to take him down. So now it’s Doi, Ricochet and CIMA vs. Yokosuka. Yokosuka cleans house with lariats. CIMA hits the Nakayubi. Doi this the Bakatare Sliding Kick for 2. He hits the Dai Bosou. CIMA and Ricochet hit the double Tokarev. CIMA hit the Schwein. He hits the Meteora for the win at 16:44 shown of 28:03. The stipulation is interesting, in that the ebb and flow of the match can drastically change many times (I’m seeing this before the two that preceded it chronologically). This had some clever stuff, but I feel there’s potential for more with the gimmick.
Rating: ***½

The show ends with clips of Ronin’s losing effort in their debut match against Kamikaze. After the match Kamikaze is poised for big things until KAGETORA bails out on them.
