BxB Hulk vs. CIMA {BW} [Semifinal Match]
CIMA attacks before the bell. He whips Hulk into the post for 2. He hits a senton. Hulk misses a dropkick and CIMA kicks him in the face. CIMA hits an elbowdrop for 2. He puts on a funky leglock that looks a lot like he’s preparing for cunnilingus. He hits a low blow. Hulk hits a leg lariat. CIMA goes to the eyes. Hulk hits a back heel kick. He hits an enziguiri. CIMA avoids a dropkick and hits a senton. He hits the Perfect Driver for 2. He hits a dropkick and the Nakayubi. He puts on a double underhook. Hulk appears to be out but he must have been playing possum because he hits the Mouse. CIMA hits a superkick. Hulk hits an axe kick. He hits the First Flash to the back of the head. He hits another to the face for the win (with a cocky cover) at 7:10. I did not buy that finish at all. Up until the final twenty seconds this was a CIMA squash, and then Hulk comes out of nowhere and wins so dominantly with two First Flashes? Aside from getting over the lethal nature of that move, this was almost insulting in structure.

He reapplies the armbar. Kanda gets to the ropes. Mochizuki kills Kanda with kicks but only gets 2. Now the crowd is heavily behind Kanda. Mochizuki hits the Twister for 2. The crowd is freaking out. Mochizuki hits the Ikkakugeri. Kanda blocks the Sankakugeri and hits a superplex. He hits a pair of exploders. Mochizuki blocks a German suplex and hits an axe kick. Kanda blocks the Sankakugeri and the Twister III to hit a German suplex for the win at 10:37, to raucous applause.. It was pretty crazy to see the crowd get behind one of the most despicable heels in the company in favor of the typically popular babyface champion. He did have the underdog thing going for him and the way he disoriented the Mochizuki to win the match was some of the best work I’ve seen from him in years.

BxB Hulk vs

ladimir's Forex Lst System'>Vladimir's Forex Lst Systemon_precoz ** $31.85 / Venta ** Altas Ventas'>Solucion #1 A La Eyaculacion_precoz ** $31.85 / Venta ** Altas Ventas. Yasushi Kanda {BW} [Tournament Finals]
They fight it out on the mat to start. Hulk goes after the arm but Kanda gets to the ropes. Hulk hits an armdrag and puts on an armbar. He stomps on Kanda’s arm. Kanda takes a break. Back in the ring Hulk rams his shoulder into the corner. He reapplies the armbar but Kanda gets to the ropes. He hits a roundhouse kick for 2. He goes back to the arm. The crowd is pretty quiet for all this. Hulk hits a senton for 2. He reapplies the armbar. Kanda gets to the ropes. He finally gains control by hitting the Jon Woo on the apron. He hits a suicide dive. Back in the ring he hits a springboard elbow. Hulk ducks another elbow but runs into Kanda’s side slam. That gets 2. Kanda hits the Manhattan drop. Hulk hits the Mouse. He hits a powerslam and the EVO for 2. The crowd applauds for Kanda’s kick-out. Hulk sweeps the leg and hits the BxB Star Press for 2. They fight up the corner where Kanda hits an avalanche facebuster for 2. He hits the flying elbowdrop for 2. Hulk blocks the Ryus. Kanda hits the German suplex for 2. He hits a flippidy do (ugly Sky Twister Press) for 2, but now we know he means business. Hulk blocks the Ryus again and hits his slam for 2. Kanda’s nose is busted open at the bridge. Hulk punts him for 2. He hits an axe kick and the First Flash. He hits the Phoeni Splash for the win at 14:04. Something very interesting happened here. Kanda had won the crowd over in his semifinal match, and they were not interested in seeing the squeaky clean Hulk win the tournament. This was a calculated move, as Hulk dominated the match by working on the now-sympathetic Kanda’s already injured arm and Kanda spent the entire first half of the match at a disadvantage. Definitely an interesting match to check out from a psychology standpoint.
Rating: ***

The crowd shows Hulk some respect during his post-match celebration. Hulk says he thought that they’d be more excited for him. They clap a little more, but he still seems disappointed. He says he wishes he could have won the tournament in Sapporo instead of Osaka. His stable-mates tell him to take it easy. Hulk turns to Shingo Takagi and rips on him for losing in the first round. Takagi does not take that well. Hulk talks about their upcoming match against MarahaIsappa in Tokyo and promises Takagi that they’ll win.

Then Hulk calls Mochizuki into the ring and challenges him for the Dream Gate title. Mochizuki gives Hulk a proverbial pat on the back but then ignores him to give Kanda credit for beating him in the semifinals. Kanda will get a shot at the Dream Gate title first. Kanda eagerly accepts the match. Hulk’s challenge is never addressed.

Ryo Saito {BW} & Ricochet {BW} vs. Dragon Kid & PAC ends when Kid catches Saito with the Bible for the win. PK-1 challenges Saito and Genki Horiguchi for the Twin Gate belts. Horiguchi accepts the challenge.

A few days later, CIMA {BW}, Naruki Doi {BW}, Cyber Kong {BW} & Gamma {BW} vs. Masaaki Mochizuki, YAMATO, Dragon Kid & Masato Yoshino [Elimination Match] ended when Gamma accidentally spit in Doi’s face, leading to Mochizuki hitting the Sankakugeri for the win. After the match Doi wanted to kick someone out of the Blood Warriors, and settled on CIMA (who had been eliminated first fro the match). Gamma takes the most pleasure in the double-cross, but as he runs down CIMA on the microphone the Metal Warrior attacks him with a cane. CIMA takes the microphone and says it was all a ruse to embarrass Gamma and kick him out of the group. Metal Warrior turns out to be Kzy, who now joins the Blood Warriors.
