Cyber Kong {BW}, Genki Horiguchi {BW} & Ryo Saito {BW} vs. Don Fujii, Super Shenlong & AR Fox ended with Kong hitting the Cyber Bomb on Shenlong. After the match Kong challenges Masaaki Mochizuki for his Dream Gate title again. To prove his strength he took on every member on Junction Three in an arm wrestling match. We see him easily defeat Dragon Kid, have little trouble with YAMATO and then struggle to finish off Takagi. He beats Mochizuki with ease. Mochizuki finaly accepts Kong’s challenge and says he’ll beat him with his legs, not his arms.

After the match Gamma and Tanisaki brawl. Tanisaki hits Gamma with the Brave Gate title belt and pins him for 2, displaying how easy it will be to pin him in their “title” match.

The match is joined in progess with Saito saving Doi from Gamma’s Sky Twister Press. Gamma hits Doi with a hurricanrana. Gamma hits a clothesline. Swann hits the FIREBIRD. Kanda hits a flapjack. So that was the exact same finish as the previous round match for Kanda and Doi. I wonder if it will factor into their semifinal match.

I’m a little disappointed we didn’t see the Yoshino vs. Yokosuka Torbellino vs. lariat battle, but that aside they still strung together a pretty good match here. Yoshino and Kid were generally overwhelmed by their opponents’ power, and it wasn’t until they isolated and confounded one with their speed that they won.
