Masaaki Mochizuki {J3} & YAMATO {J3} vs. Yasushi Kanda {BW} & Naruki Doi {BW} [Semifinal Match]
Once again, our heroes catch the villains going for the early advantage. Everyone brawls around the building. In the ring Doi goes to the eyes. Kanda hits a blue box attack. Kanda hits the Jon Woo on YAMATO. Doi hits the Dai Bosou. He hits a powerbomb and Kanda hits the flying elbowdrop for 2. Doi avoids the spear. YAMATO hits him with an exploder. Mochizuki cleans house with kicks. Our heroes put on stereo sleeper holds. Kzy runs in to break it up. Rich Swann hits him with a dropkick. That EXACT spot happened earlier in the tournament. Mochizuki hits Doi with a chest kick to start. Doi avoids the Ikkakugeri. Kanda hits a pair of exploders. He blocks the Sankakugeri. Doi and YAMATO block each other’s finishers. YAMATO hits an enziguiri. Kanda hits a flapjack. Doi hits the Doi 555 and the Bakatare Sliding Kick for 2. YAMATO spears Kanda out of nowhere for the win at 8:02 shown of 10:02. It’s almost like the wrestlers forgot that all of the SATT matches were being aired on Infinity, because so many spots from earlier matches were recycled in unnatural feeling ways. The finished felt incredibly tacked on too. These semifinals are totally skippable.

When I asked for another singles match between Cyber Kong {BW} vs. Shingo Tak

.html”>tips on how to win back my ex girlfriend from new boyfriendagi {J3}, I meant one that we could actually see without it being all clipped up! These two seem to be cursed. Even their Dream Gate match was clipped to shreds. Luckily I uploaded this version of it, which at least shows a few minutes of it.. The clips here show Kong in control the entire time, with the exception of Takagi hitting the STAY DREAM out of desperation. Kong wins the match with the Cyber Bomb.

CIMA {BW}, Ryo Saito {BW} & Genki Horiguchi {BW} vs. KAGETORA {J3}, Rich Swann {J3} & Gamma {J3} sees KAGETORA singled out by the Blood Warriors until he catches Horiguchi with the Kagenui to get the win.

Masaaki Mochizuki {J3} & YAMATO {J3} vs. BxB Hulk {BW} & Akira Tozawa {BW} [Tournament Finals]
YAMATO and Tozawa start. They trade holds. Mochizuki hits Hulk with a shoulder tackle. Hulk hits a dropkick. Mochizuki hits a back kick. He hits in on Tozawa as well. He hits a leg kick and puts on a leglock. YAMATO puts on leglock on Tozawa’s other leg. Tozawa gets to the ropes. Kong hits Mochizuki with a lariat to the leg on the apron. He whips Mochizuki into the post. He hits a shinbreaker on a chair on the apron. Hulk goes to work on the leg. Mochizuki still hits a leg kick on Hulk. Hulk and Tozawa take turns kicking YAMATO. YAMATO hits Hulk with an elbow. Mochizuki hits a missile dropkick. He hits Hulk with the Sankakugeri. Kong distracts him so he hits Kong with the topé Masaaki. ¬YAMATO and Mochizuki put on stereo anklelocks. Kzy tries to interfere so our heroes take him out. I’M SO GLAD THEY UPDATED THE SPOT! Mochizuki kicks the spit out of Hulk’s mouth. Hulk hits the EVO. He hits a dropkick and Tozawa hits a side suplex for 2. Mochizuki blocks Hulk’s kicks and hits a dragon screw. He hits it on Tozawa. YAMATO and Tozawa trade their trademark kicks. YAMATO trips Tozawa and punts him. He hits the brainbuster for 2. Tozawa blocks the Galleria. Mochizuki hits a superplex. YAMATO puts on the sleeper hold. He hits the sleeper suplex for 2. He hits the Galleria for 2. He reapplies the sleeper hold. Hulk makes the save. YAMATO ducks the First Flash and puts on the sleeper hold. Hulk hits an enziguiri. He hits the FTX for 2. Mochizuki hits the Illusion and the Sankakugeri. Hulk hits a superkick before collapsing. Tozawa hits YAMATO with the German suplex for 2. Hulk hits the First Flash and Tozawa hits the arm-trap German suplex for the win at 15:36 shown of 25:08. The way they played off of the earlier tournament matches was great, as was Hulk and Tozawa gelling completely as a team to defeat the mega-team of YAMATO and Mochizuki. Even the interference here was done well and sparingly. I love it when the tournament final is the best match of the entire tournament.
Rating: ****

After the match Tozawa takes a pair of scissors to YAMATO’s hair. Takagi and KAGETORA make the save. KAGETORA turns the tide in Junction Three’s favor. He takes the microphone and runs town Hulk, Kong and Tozawa. They all get their chance to respond, and when Kong gets on the microphone he levels Yoshino with a shoulder tackle. Tozawa rips up the certificate he and Hulk got for winning the tournament, seemingly saying he’s not interested in the Twin Gate belts. The fallout is a big Naniwa Style Elimination match pitting Kong, Tozawa, Hulk and Doi against Takagi, KAGETORA, YAMATO and Yoshino. If the Blood Warriors win the match will be renamed a Yoshida Style match, in honor of Kong’s real name.
