Walking into the venue, the Knights of Columbus hall in LaSalle, IL, first impression was HOLY CRAP FOR AN INDY SHOW THERE ARE A TON OF PEOPLE HERE! Estimated attendance was over 600, and every one of them must have left hoarse as that place was LOUD. Decent merch table, great bar and prices, 2 video screeens, you could tell this was not their first rodeo.
They had 2 pre show matches,  Craig Mitchell defeated Knight Wagner in the first contest, and Reed Bentley defeated Magnum Pro’s Jeff O Shea. Both got good time to work some nice spots in.
Main show opener was a #1 contender for the Alternative title match with Prince Mustafa Ali defeating C.J. Esparza. Good match, with Ali hitting the running power bomb for the finish.
Matt Cage and Chris Castro defeated Shane Hollister and Dan Lawrence, afterwards Hollister broke up the team of him and Lawrence, affectionally known as “Members Only”.
Third match was Christian Rose defeating Ariya Daivari. Quick word about Rose: this guy is over HUGE in this town. He could have ran for mayor last night and won in a landslide. Biggest pop of the night. After the match, Jake the Snake Roberts came out and fed Davairi to Rose for a Rose DDT, much to the delight of the crowd.
The team of PRIDE, Matt Knicks and the Dodgeball guy defeated Helter Skelter to retain their Dreamwave Tag Titles in a nice match.
Ryan Boz came out and started running down the crowd, which brought out Diamond Dallas Page! Boz said DDP couldn’t last five seconds with him, DDP game him two diamond cutters for his troubles. Page then took the mic and showed the video of the military veteran who lost 140 pounds on DDP yoga and got his life turned around because of it. Standing ovation for DDP.
Intermission time, ring crew set up for the Bucky Collins/Nikki Mayday wedding.
Wedding was going well until PRIDE came out to intervene with the 2013 Young Lions Cup champion Mr. Touchdown Mark Angelosetti! Just as things were at their bleakest, the returning Mason Beck came out and saved the wedding.
Lince Dorado defeated WWE bound Samuray Del Sol in a match that started show but picked up a ton of momentum and finished strong. Lots of flying, as to be expected with these two.
Marshe Rockett kept his Alternative title with a win over Vic Capri. Capri was awarded the belt, but head referee came in, and took over the match due to a fast count from the female ref. Rockett his his finisher and game over. What I took away from this match: Rockett CHOPS HARD. Loudest chop i have ever heard live.
Justice Jones defeated Luther in a nice quick match.
Main event time. Jason Hades kept his Dreamwave title in a dog collar match over Nick Brubaker. Hard hitting match, with Matt Cage interfering at the end to seal the win for Hades.
Great show. 4 hours long, and excitemennt from start to finish. Next month, the Steiner Brothers are scheduled to appear. In August, WWE Hall of Famer Ron Simmons!
