Danny Havoc comes out to make a announcement that he will face Dysfunction in may in Dysfunction’s last deathmatch. Danny also announces he will face Drake Younger at Best of the Best next month in what will be Drake’s final CZW appearance (most likely). CZW Wired Title
Shane Strickland def Devon Moore to win the Wired Title
CZW World Heavyweight Championship
The Campaigns’ Drew Gulak def A.R. Fox making Fox tap out to the Gulock
– at one point Fox hit his 450 but only got a 2 count
Adam Leavelle’s LIVE thoughts
CZW World Title Match:
Drew Gulak (C) vs. AR Fox
Awesome match!! Kimberlee pulls the ref out before he can count the pin on Gulak, and Gulak comes back making Fox submit to the Gulock
CZW Wired Title Match:
Devon Moore (C) vs. Shane Strickland
Good match, Strickland NEW champ!
CZW World Tag Team Title Match:
The Beaver Boys (C) vs. The Front
Decent match, way too many at ringside as the entire Front was out there, but Beaver Boys get the win
Grudge Match:
Greg Excellent vs. Pepper Parks
***The winner gets Cherry Bomb.***
Perrer wins in SECONDS but then a mixed tag match is made. Pepper and Cherry Bomb vs Excellent and Lufisto which Excellent and Lufisto win. It was very entertaining!
MASADA vs. Mr. Tofiga
MASADA bleeds, but wins with a big moonsault with a ladder laying on top of Tofiga
Grudge Match:
Blk Jeez vs. DJ Hyde
Jeez wins, when Tommy Dreamer distracts Hyde
Tommy Dreamer vs. Joe Gacy
Gacy wins with a big top rope splash
Alexander James vs. Caleb Konley
Konley looked good, and won
8 Man Tag Team Match:
The Juicy Product, Alex Colon, & a member of The Front vs. OI4K, Azrieal, & Chris Dickinson
Azriel, ChrisDickinson & OI4K win
Timothy Thatcher makes his CZW debut!
He faced a guy I thought was named Dalton Peackock, but apparently it was
“Party Peacock” Dalton Castle. Crowd shit ALL over it. They HATED it. Thatcher is a very tight, technical wrestler. He won in a match that went way too long.
Danny Havoc will face Dysfunction in may in Dysfunction’s last deathmatch. Danny also announces he will face Drake Younger at Best of the Best next month in what will be Drake’s final CZW appearance. Treemont attacks from behind but Lucky 13 makes the save
It was a fun night of wrestling.
Conley looked good, and I got to meet him after the show.
The crowd wanted Dreamer to win, but Gacey keeps winning!
Poor Thatcher just got booed out of the building, and the crowd hated Peacock. It wasn’t a horrible match, but it just didn’t gel with the CZW crowd at all.
Tag title match was good, but with every member of the Front being out there, it made for a cluster.
I am normally NOT a Greg Excellent fan, but man, the mixed tag match was great! It was one of my favorites. I honestly can’t believe I’m saying that, but it was very entertaining!
The eight man tag was….ok. I’d have preferred seeing Busick vs. Dickenson in a singles match
MASADA’s win was short and sweet. Good for what it was.
Blk Jeez and Hyde was intense, stiff, and hurt to watch it lol.
Strickland put on a show, and it was great seeing him win the title! I spoke with him after, congratulating him. I tweeted a picture of him with the title.
AR Fox and Gulak tore the freaking house down! To me, that match was worth the price of admission.
