One of my favorite things about CWF is their consistency. Yes, they consistently put on good matches and always give fans an awesome, entertaining show both live and on YouTube. However, their true consistency lies in their ability to tell stories that are both logical and entertaining. While just focusing on the star ratings is cool, in the long run, I believe this leads to fans only being invested in the short term. This is where CWF’s approach gives them the advantage. I’ve never seen a bad episode of CWF Worldwide. Whenever you watch CWF WorldWide, you’re gonna get a fun show. With that being said, CWF is great at telling stories that will keep fans invested in the long run. This episode perfectly embodies the fun matches with logical stories side of CWF.

This episode starts with the team of Nick Richards and Michael McAllister battling the debuting team of Dos Hombres. Dos Hombres consisted of two masked men going by Negro Bart and Red Canyon Jack. With CWF having their Kernodle Cup tag tournament in a few weeks, I’m wondering if this was meant to introduce a new team for the tournament.

The action was fun. It was competitive enough to buy into Dos Hombres as a team while giving Richards and McAllister a decent amount of momentum. It looks that based off of the back and forth I’ve seen on Twitter, we could be seeing Richards and McAllister vs Cain Justice and Ethan Sharpe really soon. Richards and McAllister go by Redemption because they’re two veterans who’ve kinda lost their way and want to find their groove. Feuding with the super confident youngsters Justice and Sharpe would be an excellent clash of generations and personalities!

Up next, we have a rematch from BattleCade as the entertaining and charismatic Brad Attitude fights the up and comer, Chet Sterling. When these two fought in December, it was an absolute war with Attitude coming out on top via what some would consider questionable means. Since then, Chet has been in somewhat of a slump. Granted, Attitude did interfere and cost Chet his match with John Skyler.

So, the people in charge decide to book the rematch. Well, the One Star,  Brad Attitude didn’t take too kindly to that as he felt Chet didn’t deserve a rematch. After Chet enters the ring, Attitude cuts a good promo basically saying he won’t be there. Then, Chet is jumped by Dos Hombres. Chet fights them off and then, one of the coolest things I’ve ever seen happens. Brad Attitude launches his luggage right at Chet’s face!

The fight is on! Attitude’s advantage is brief as Chet makes a comeback. Chet’s comeback also happens to be brief as Attitude cuts him off in wonderfully dirty fashion. I cannot do justice to just how awesome Brad Attitude is! The man has it all. He’s a great wrestler, he’s a damn good talker, and he oozes charisma. In the words of Attitude himself, “every match he’s ever been in is a one star match and he’s been that one star!” No matter what situation he’s in, Brad Attitude always shines.

For our third match, we had a  really fun tag match. On one side, you had the huge, intimidating duo of Otto Schwanz and Donnie Dollars. On the other side, you had the monstrous but beloved, Aaron Biggs, and his partner, perennial underdog,  Kool J. The story here was Kool J taking a beating from both of his opponents. While Donnie was more serious, Otto was more theatrical and played along with the crowd. Donnie tagged in and gave Otto an earful. This would end up costing Donnie as Otto wouldn’t save him when Kool J made his comeback. I’d love to see Otto vs Donnie! I mean, who doesn’t love a good ol’ hoss fight?

Finally, we have our main event and it’s a clash of CWF eras. On one side , you have the hero of the classic CWF era, Ric Converse  battling with one of the top villains of the modern and future CWF era, Ethan Sharpe, who was accompanied by Cain Justice . Did you see Sharpe’s sweet T shirt? I bought one and I can tell you that it’s an awesome shirt!

The match itself is really fun. Ethan does a really good job of staying competitive with the much more experienced Converse. Back when they wrestled each other the first time, Ethan won when Converse walked out before the match began. He’s been bragging about his victory ever since. This time, it was a competitive match. Ethan showed he could hang with Converse but had no problems using shortcuts and allowing Cain to interfere.

Late in the match, Converse was on a roll. Just when he looked like he was finishing Ethan off, he accidentally knocked the ref down. This allowed Cain to come in and ring his bell with a bicycle kick. Ethan took advantage and schoolboy’d Converse with tights for the W!

What followed was post-match gold. Cain and Ethan are so great at showmanship. From the victorious hug to Cain taunting Converse with a hilarious bicycle kick to the air. To cap off the episode, we were treated to a brief preview of next week’s main event. Two world class technicians are gonna fight as Trevor Lee and Roy Wilkins battle in a No Ropes match for the CWF World Heavyweight Title!
