Melissa asks Aerostar what happened (to Fenix), and Aerostar blames it all on Catrina. Aerostar regrets bringing Fenix back, Melissa says she can save him, but Aerostar knows he can’t be saved. Aerostar has “seen the end of everything”…

Matt Striker and Vampiro welcome us to the show, and recap Marty the Moth winning the Lucha Underground Championship. Tonight Marty will address everyone in the Temple. Vampiro is hyped because tonight is an action packed episode of Lucha, so they send it to the ring for Trios action!

Ivelisse, Joey Ryan, and XO Lishus vs. The Rabbit Tribe

The wacky trio of Ivelisse, Joey, and XO are now 0-2, and it’s quite obvious they don’t have any direction moving forward. On the flip side, The Rabbit Tribe is new and improved, as Paul London has released The White Rabbit, who is being presented as a very, very dominant force. A fun little match while it lasted, but accomplished the goal of putting over the new Rabbit Tribe, who should be the next challengers for the Trios Championships.

Winners: The Rabbit Tribe

Match Rating: **1/2

Ultima Lucha Cuatro is in FOUR WEEKS! Already confirmed is Mil Muertes vs. The Mack in a Death Match, Dragon Azteca Jr. vs. Fenix in a 2 out of 3 falls match, and Marty/Pentagon for the Lucha Underground Championship.

Killshot vs. Son of Havoc

This was a really solid match, that gave us a tease of bigger things from the two, likely at Ultima Lucha. Son of Havoc and Killshot are two great wrestlers, and they proved that here. While kept rather short, this was a good back and forth match that captured the attention of the crowd, and even got Vampiro to stand up and get hyped. Son of Havoc got a sneaky roll up win, and with the angle post match, things are far from over between these two.

Winner: Son of Havoc

Match Rating: ***1/4

Killshot attacks Son of Havoc after the match, beating him up with his dog tags, and then getting redemption by taking off the mask of Son of Havoc (mask vs. mask match?). Antonio Cueto then comes out, and says at Ultima Lucha Cuatro, one of those two will no longer have their symbol. Son of Havoc vs. Killshot in a MASK VS. MASK match!

Marty the Moth is out with Chelsea Green Reklusa. Marty says that Reklusa was the one who tortured Sexy Star for the past year, and they have her mask to prove it. He then goes on to talk about Pentagon, but Pentagon won’t be his first title defense. One who he can’t forget is his sister, Mariposa. Marty makes his first defense against Mariposa NEXT!

No Disqualification – Lucha Underground Championship: Marty the Moth (c) w/Reklusa vs. Mariposa

This was an absolutely awesome main event, with a very hot crowd, and a new, focused, and more brutal Marty the Moth than ever before. Mariposa had zero chance of winning, but the crowd got insanely behind her, as the Believers will literally root for anyone other than Marty the Moth. The No DQ stipulation was well played to, and they made the most out of the sibling rivalry. Great stuff here.

Winner: Marty the Moth

Match Rating: ***3/4

Marty says he needed to be focused to beat his sister, and it’s that same focus that’ll keep him as Lucha Underground Champion. Marty doesn’t just want a normal match at Ultima Lucha, he wants a CERO MIEDO match. Marty is dedicating that match to Mariopsa, but first he dedicates this to Pentagon… AND BREAKS MARIPOSA’S ARM. Pentagon Dark comes out with a chair and swings at Marty before he and Reklusa retreat. Pentagon then grabs a mic and accepts the Cero Miedo match.

Final Thoughts:

This was a great episode of Lucha Underground, as the bulid to Ultima Lucha Cuatro continues, and we had some great wrestling mixed in. The new Rabbit Tribe is more dominant than ever, and no one will be stopping The White Rabbit anytime soon. Ultima Lucha Cuatro was officially announced in 4 weeks’ time, and it’ll be a 2 week special. There’s already four matches confirmed for the show, and it’s looking more stacked than ever. Add in two good to great matches from Killshot/Havoc and Marty/Mariposa, and this was a great episode.

Final Rating: 7.3/10
