The show starts live at 9pm Eastern and has a stacked card that is sure to be a must watch. Let’s take a look at the announced matches.

Tracy Williams vs. Orange Cassidy for the Powerbomb.TV Independent Wrestling Championship

Tracy “Hot Sauce” Williams has spent over 300 days as Powerbomb.TV Independent Wrestling Champion. The champion has defeated all comers, including Kobe Durst and Hallowicked earlier this month. He steps into his match with “Freshly Squeezed” Orange Cassidy with 16 successful title defenses. Orange Cassidy earned this title match by defeating “the Ace of Beyond Wrestling” David Starr. Can Tracy Williams add a 17th successful title defense to his accomplishments or will Cassidy walk in 2019 as the new Powerbomb.TV Independent Wrestling Champion?

Chris Dickinson vs. David Starr

David Starr has been calling himself “the Ace of Beyond Wrestling” for quite some time now. He may have earned that moniker when he defeated Joey Janela at Americanrana ’18 in a No Ropes Barbed Wire Match, but Chris Dickinson has finally broke his silence. Dickinson has been with Beyond since the beginning, almost 10 years now. He’s tired of being overlooked. This New Years Chris Dickinson looks to solidify himself as the true “Ace of Beyond Wrestling.”

Nick Gage vs. Josh Briggs in a Fans Bring the Weapons Match

After Josh Briggs defeated Brody King at Americanrana ’18, he stated that he would either die or get signed before he loses another match in Beyond Wrestling. Since then he’s been on a winning streak, defeating Ryan Galeone, Curt Stallion and Luchasaurus. Briggs was set to take on Nick Gage at Tournament For Tomorrow 2018 Night 2 but Briggs stood in the ring an announced that Gage wasn’t there due to an injury. Little did Briggs know, as he finished his speech Gage sneaked into the building with a chair. Gage took out Briggs and laid out the challenge against Briggs in a type of match that Gage is too familiar with, a No DQ Fans Bring the Weapons match.

Gage is coming off victories against Fire Ant in a No DQ match and G-Raver in a 50,000 Thumbtack Match. While last year’s Fans Bring The Weapons Match was insane, this one might be just as insane. Can Briggs continue on his winning ways in a match that’s Gage’s specialty or does Gage show Briggs what MDK is all about?

Beaver Boys vs. WWR TFT Tag Team Tournament Winners

We won’t know the opponents for the Beaver Boys until the Women’s Wrestling Revolution Tournament For Tomorrow Tag Team Tournament takes place on Sunday December 30th, which is also live on Powerbomb.tv at 5pm EST. The Beaver Boys may be going into this match with less than 24 hours to prepare for their opponents, but they are no strangers to intergender tag team wrestling. They have previously taken on teams such as the Twisted Sisters and Team P.A.W.G. in Beyond Wrestling.

The tag team that have been calling themselves “the Ace Tag Team of Beyond” have been on a winning streak since April, only losing to EYFBO (aka LAX) since then. They are also the 2018 Beyond Wrestling TFT winners, defeating Aeroform, Viking War Party and Hot Wheelz to be crowned the tournament winners. Can Beaver Boys continue the winning streak or will the WWR TFT winners take advantage of the Beaver Boys having little time to prepare for their opponents?

John Walters vs. Wheeler Yuta

The 2017 Tournament For Tomorrow winner Wheeler Yuta has had victories over MJF, Matt Riddle and Jaka, but still has yet to gain momentum in Beyond Wrestling. While John Walters defeated Jonathan Gresham in his debut match for Beyond Wrestling at “It’s Alive.” Even though that was his debut for Beyond Wrestling, the former Ring of Honor Pure Champion is no stranger to competition. As the 17 year veteran looks to make his mark in Beyond Wrestling, can Wheeler Yuta stop his opponent’s momentum and create momentum of his own? On Beyond Wrestling’s Twitter page they promised this a be a human chess game between two of the most skilled technicians of their respective generations. I agree. Expect a technical masterpiece.

Eddie Kingston vs. Stokely Hathaway

In the past few months Stokely Hathaway has defeated UltraMantis Black, Icarus, and the number one contender for the Powerbomb.TV Independent Wrestling Championship, Orange Cassidy. Stokely has laid out the challenge to Eddie Kingston. Stokely even resorted to calling Kingston a fat piece of shit on Twitter. Was that a smart move from Stokely? Will Stokely live to see 2019 as he looks to leave Heavy Lies The Crown as the King?

(Stokely might die)

Matt Cross vs. Andrew Everett

Andrew Everett is returning to Beyond Wrestling for the first time in 3 years. His challenge is the 17 year vet Matt Cross. Two of the best high flyers in the world go one-on-one for the first time ever. This should be a spectacle.

Simon Grimm vs. Timothy Thatcher

Timothy Thatcher is a making a rare US appearance while Simon Grimm is making his Beyond Wrestling debut. This match will be a hard hitting and technical contest. Who will come out the victor?

Also scheduled to compete is Kris Statlander, who has been making waves ever since squaring off with John Silver at “Please Come Back.” Statlander is a talent you should look out for going into the new year. The show is sure to be a fun one and will most likely be filled with surprises. Join Powerbomb.TV to watch Heavy Lies The Crown live along with Beyond Wrestling’s past events.
