Glory Pro is coming off a very successful “Fear of the Dark” show, which was their first show live on Powerbomb.tv. Come January 6th, they’re back at it with the first ever TLC match in Glory Pro history, along with the debut of Bandido! This is a really great card, and is a great way to kick off the year.

Aaron Orion vs. Warhorse

Aaron Orion didn’t have the biggest opportunity to impress at Fear of the Dark, but he looked very good and I think he has a ton of potential. Warhorse is coming off a win over Airwolf, and is trying to rack up wins and get another crack at the Crown of Glory. This should be a really, really good match if given the time. I’m very interested to see how Orion does in singles competition, and Warhorse never disappoints. Give these two 8-10 minutes and this will deliver.

Prediction: Warhorse

Aaron Solow vs. Mike Outlaw

Aaron Solow competed in Glory Pro back at Strike First, and defeated #NNF member Danny Adams. With Adams and KLD being occupied in the TLC match, this is the perfect time for Mike Outlaw to prove he’s a legit singles competitor. He’s coming into this one looking for redemption, but I’m not quite sure he’ll get it. Aaron Solow is a great wrestler, and I hope he has a really strong 2019. This one’s kind of tough to predict, but I think Solow will get another win, and hopefully he becomes a Glory Pro regular this year.

Prediction: Aaron Solow

Jake Lander vs. Joey Lynch vs. Shane Sabre

This is one of those matches where you don’t expect a ton from it, but they usually deliver. Shane Sabre has been in Glory Pro quite a bit, and Lander and Lynch have also had a few outings. I don’t expect this one to get a ton of time, but it could be a fun match to kick off the show. Hopefully the crowd is invested, but either way the match should deliver.

Prediction: Jake Lander

Kobe Durst vs. Barackus

I’m a huge fan of this match, even though it probably won’t be anything too special. Kobe Durst picked up his first singles win at the last show, defeating Tyler Colton. Barackus got a show off, but now he’s looking to take down Durst, who kills it and is only 23 years old. Barackus will most likely get the win in a shorter match, but Durst will get a good near fall or two and be a great underdog.

Prediction: Barackus

Allie Kat vs. Vanessa Azure

I’m not very familiar with either of these two, but I’m sure a lot have at least heard of Allie Kat. Savanna Stone recently turned heel, so Glory Pro is looking for a big face to step up in the women’s division. While there isn’t a women’s title here in Glory Pro, there’s always a women’s match, or they’re at least featured on the card. If they’re looking to debut a women’s title later in the year, it’s great to see new faces on the card, and let’s hope they deliver.

Prediction: Allie Kat

AJ Gray vs. Jake Something

AJ Gray had his breakout match against ACH at Strike First, and has been involved in great matches ever since. Jake Something lost the Crown of Glory to Curt Stallion, and just lost to Paco, which sent him over the edge and now we have a version of Jake Something that we’ve never seen before. Something beat up Paco after they’re match at Fear of the Dark, but AJ Gray came out to make the save. I see Gray being a vital name for Glory Pro in 2019, and this match proves it. Something should get a win to back up his recent heel turn, as Gray doesn’t need the win right now, and he’ll have plenty of other chances later in the year.

Prediction: Jake Something

Paco vs. Eddie Kingston

Eddie Kingston debuted for Glory Pro at Horsepower, and suffered a shocking loss to Paco. Paco is one of the best underdog babyfaces you’ll find, but now he has to get back in the ring with Kingston, who is coming for revenge. A win for Paco would be absolutely huge, and shoot him right into contention for the Crown of Glory. Kingston’s career may be winding down, but he had a great match with Paco the first time around, and this one should be even better. I see Kingston getting the win, but I wouldn’t be shocked if they give Paco another surprise win.

Prediction: Eddie Kingston

United Glory Championship TLC Match: Myron Reed and Stephen Wolf (c) vs. The Besties in the World vs. #NNF (Danny Adams and KLD)

This one might end up being the main event, but it’d be crazy for them to bring Bandido in and not main event. At Fear of the Dark, it seemed like The Besties were about to become two time United Glory Champions, however Danny Adams and KLD had something to say about that, as they pulled the referee out of the ring and caused a DQ. After a brawl ensued, Stephen Wolf challenged both teams to a TLC Match! This is the first TLC match in Glory Pro history, and it should be phenomenal. Another great thing about this match is it’s super hard to predict, as I could see Reed and Wolf retaining, or #NNF picking up the win. Reed and Wolf’s tag title run seems to just be beginning, so I’ll stick with them, but don’t be shocked if we get a title change here.

Prediction: Myron Reed and Stephen Wolf

Crown of Glory Championship: Curt Stallion (c) vs. Bandido

Curt Stallion is the reigning and defending Crown of Glory Champion, and he has already successfully defended against Warhorse, Marko Stunt, and DJZ. Road Warrior Animal is the new Talent Coordinator for Glory Pro, and he’s set up an “International Challenge Series” for Curt Stallion. The first huge name being brought in is Bandido, who has been arguably the best independent wrestler of 2018. Hopefully they get a good 15-20 minutes to work, because this should be an absolutely insane match, with great near falls and drama. Stallion losing the title doesn’t seem likely, as Bandido just signed with ROH, and it’d be a little odd to have him lose in the first match of the series. Either way, this is going to rule.

Prediction: Curt Stallion
