The whole Cage family is in the house tonight, as Melissa Santos, Cage, and their new daughter, Skylar, are here! Brody King quickly comes out to interrupt, saying he’s injured just like Melissa. Brody came for a challenge, and his final match in Bar Wrestling! Brody is challenging THE MINI MACHINE! We get a ref in the ring and this is official! Baby Skylar quickly grabs hold of Brody King and makes him tap out! Brody then flips her off on the way out!

Andy Brown, Brandon Cutler, and Dave Dutra vs. Eric Watts, Luchasaurus, and Tyler Bateman

Pretty good opening trios match, it started slow, but turned into a very fun contest. Once things broke down, they brawled on the outside, and this turned into a very enjoyable match. The team of Watts, Luchasaurus, and Bateman is really random but they did well together. Seeing some newer faces like Andy Brown and Dave Dutra was nice, hopefully they get booked more often. Overall, a good match, but needed a better finish as I wasn’t a fan of using The Death From Above, it just looked weak.

Winners: Eric Watts, Luchasaurus, and Tyler Bateman

Match Rating: ***

Kikutaro & Takeshi Minamino vs. RockNES Monsters

For what this was, it was WAY too long. The match felt like it dragged on forever, and the comedy started off nice, but was overused and the crowd didn’t even care a ton. Don’t get me wrong, I love Kikutaro, but this just wasn’t his best comedy work. The closing stretch was super overbooked as well, and got the heels a cheap win. Time to move on.

Winners: RockNES Monsters

Brian Cage vs. Dan Barry vs. Jake Atlas vs. Ryan Taylor

I really enjoyed this match, even though I think it could’ve been a bit better. Jake Atlas is someone I’ve been really high on, so it’s great to see him debut in Bar Wrestling. Ryan Taylor also made his Bar debut, and I thought he looked really good, especially in a few exchanges. Odd decision to have it start out with tags, but things broke down and this turned into the best match of the night (so far). Cage continues his undefeated streak in Bar Wrestling!

Winner: Brian Cage

Match Rating: ***1/4

Darby Allin & Priscilla Kelly vs. Doomfly

As expected, this ruled. It was short, but full of great back and forth tornado action. They didn’t have five minutes playing around with tags, instead they went right into it, brawled around ringside, and brought things back into the ring and killed it. Delilah had a rough spot or two, but otherwise this was great. I’m surprised Doomfly got the win, but then again I shouldn’t be because they’re one of the best teams in Bar Wrestling. These are the type of matches I expect from Bar, not like the first two tags we got tonight.

Winners: Doomfly

Match Rating: ***1/2

Heather Monroe vs. Katarina vs. Nicole Savoy vs. Ruby Raze

This is quite the combination of women, but this ended up being way better than I anticipated. Heather Monroe got the feel good win, as she has been doing great things for the women’s division in Bar. Ruby Raze reminded me a lot of ODB, and was actually pretty solid. Savoy and Katarina are both solid, and I actually expected Savoy to win, but had no problems with the outcome. They had a lot of fun, and mostly used their time well before a solid closing stretch. If they stuck to plain wrestling, I bet this wouldn’t have been half as good.

Winner: Heather Monroe

Match Rating: ***1/4

HOH TV Championship: Willie Mack (c) vs. Tommy Dreamer

There wasn’t a whole lot here, as Tommy Dreamer is quite limited nowadays when he wrestles. It blows my mind that Tommy Dreamer is still wrestling, the dude is an animal! Before the match, Dreamer decided that this would be a title match. For it being our only singles match on the card, I was a little disappointed, but didn’t expect a ton. In the end, Dreamer brought in a chair but it costed him, as Mack hit a Stunner with the chair to pick up the win. Not awful, just average.

Winner: Willie Mack

Match Rating: **3/4

Colt Cabana & Joey Ryan vs. Jervis Cottonbelly & Martina vs. PPRay

Does this even count as a wrestling match? I don’t care, it was super entertaining, and Joey Ryan sure knows how to play to his audience. This was the perfect combination of comedy wrestling, along with some good heels, and just overall a ton of fun. At the beginning they were just buying time until midnight hit, which was a huge celebration! Colt wanted to leave, but Joey wouldn’t let him so the match continued. Overall just a ton of fun, it’s impossible to rate a match like this, but if you like comedy wrestling, and enjoy the talent involved, I’m sure you’ll love this.

Winners: PPray

Match Rating: ***

Final Thoughts:

There were a ton of multi person matches on this card, some of which were good, one was really good, and one was quite bad. It’s one of those shows where Joey Ryan tried to shove as much talent on the card as possible, and there were some really unique combinations in these matches. Match of the night was easily Doomfly vs. Darby and Priscilla, but the four way was good, and main event was a ton of fun. Joey called the main event “The Match of the Year” which is ironically great because at the time, it was the only match of the year. Nothing amazing on this show, but it had it’s fun moments.

Final Rating: 6.5/10
