According to a report from SoCal Uncensored, Joey Ryan turned down an AEW Contract.
In what is a possible spoiler for his scheduled announcement at Bar Wrestling Thursday, we have confirmed with multiple sources that Joey Ryan has turned down a contract offer from All Elite Wrestling.
When Joey Ryan was released from his Lucha Underground contract, there was a lot of speculation that Ryan would end up in AEW due to his connection to Being the Elite and his participation at the All In show. Then Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer reported that WWE had contacted Ryan about coming to NXT and possibly starting a coaching position in a few years.
This Thursday, May 30th in SoCal, Joey Ryan will announce his future plans, contract status and the future of #BarWrestling.
