GCW started off the new year hot with I Can’t Feel My Face. Just one week later, the company travels to Texas with Take A Picture. And with that, they put an eye on some southern talent. Last time they were in the southern region they crowned a new GCW Champion. This time they make a journey across the United States. What will go down in the Blue Genie on the 18th, live on Fite.tv? Here are the matches.

Masada vs SHLAK

Masada is no stranger to the GCW ring. However, the last time he wrestled a deathmatch in the promotion was in 2017. Instead, fighting in the CZW promotion. That being said the Texas native will have the home advantage when he takes on SHLAK. SHLAK is preparing for their tour overseas in Japan. And between the two deathmatch workers, there is sure to be violence.

Chris Dickinson vs Andy Dalton

In a match advertised as Dirty vs Dirty. Andy Dalton debuts against Chris Dickinson. Dalton is not an unknown name having taken part in such companies as Revolver, Impact, and MLW in the last year alone. He faces a tall order in Chris Dickinson who is coming off hot not just off of his win against Alex Zayne at I Can’t Feel my Face, but his own recent performances in Beyond. Which he’ll look to continue.

Gino Medina vs Blake Christian

Blake Christian first came to GCW during one of their shows in the southern region, that being Lights Out. So it’s fitting that he faces another debut from the southern territory by the name of Gino Medina. Gino is most associated with the Reality of Wrestling promotion and debuted for MLW recently. So look for an athletic contest between the two.

Chris Bey vs Alex Zayne

Alex Zayne and Chris Bey are two people who have been on the radar of GCW for all of 2019. While Zayne does hold a victory over Bey in a Suburban Fight Pro event co-promoted with GCW. Bey Wasn’t seen on GCW screens until Curtain Call. Zayne will be heading to NJPW after this match, and Bey will be looking for momentum going into Just Being honest. But both will be looking to build a name going into The Collective.

Nate Webb vs Ricky Starks

Nate Webb had a rough match against Rickey Shane Page. So he’s taking his shot against another Ricky. Starks who is most recently known for his matches on NWA Powerrr, is another debut for GCW. Nate Webb will be looking to pick up a win back after losing in such a dominant manner to RSP, and Starks will be looking to make a statement in his one match on GCW’s tour cross country. Expect an entertaining match.

Nick Gage vs Allie Kat

This match seems one-sided on paper. Though do not underestimate Allie Kat. She has been able to pull out deathmatches when it counts. And it definitely counts here. When this match was first announced it was announced as for the GCW Title. Nick Gage lost the belt in between then and now. A victory by Kat will put her in a comfortable position when it comes to GCW title consideration. Expect this match to be wild and unpredictable.

Rickey Shane Page vs Mance Warner

Mance Warner shows up to another GCW show. Whenever the southern psychopath shows up it’s always a treat. This time he takes on the current GCW champion RSP in non-title action. It’s another difference in reactions as Warner is a strong fan favorite and RSP is not. Warner may have his hands busy in future GCW shows, but a win over the champ is huge no matter what. RSP got a dominant victory and escaped Nick Gage in Asbury Park. Will he be able to do both in Texas?
