This match came into fruition after Tony Deppen took to social media and wanted an intergender Iron Man Match following his 2 hour Iron Man Match against Jordan Oliver at GCW’s Fight Forever. Trish Adora answered the challenge. Pro Wrestling Illustrated jumped in to sponsor the match. The Iron Match is presented by Beyond Wrestling and IWTV, and can be seen for FREE on YouTube.

The bell rings as the 60 minute Iron Match is underway. Feeling out process to begin the match. 10 minutes have passed and neither wrestler has gained a full advantage. Deppen seems to have the strategy of using submission holds to wear down his opponent. Going for the legs in particular. Deppen seems to start getting frustrated as he can’t keep his momentum going against Adora. Deppen goes back to attacking the left knee. He grows more cocky with every hold he locks in.

Adora starts to gain some momentum but it doesn’t last long. Deppen goes back to targeting the left knee. Anytime Adora tries to gain any momentum, it is cut short by Deppen. Deppen spits water into the face of Adora and awakens the beast. She starts laying into Deppen with strikes. Deppen goes back to what has worked for him this entire match, submission holds. Deppen grows more and more frustrated as he can pick up a fall against Adora. He grabs a commentary headset and asks Denver Colorado why did he book him against her.

40 minutes have elapsed and neither competitor have yet to pick up a fall. Close to 45 minutes in and Adora starts to fire back. A set of enziguris and a huge back suplex gets her back into the contest. Adora sees blood and starts to attack the left arm of her opponent. 10 minutes left in this contest and both opponents are laying forearm strikes into eachother. Adora sees an opening and hits the Lariat Tubman clothesline and picks up the first fall in the match. Deppen goes back on the attack. A brainbuster can’t keep Adora down for a 3 count but Deppen goes right to the bad knee and continuously bangs it into the mat until Adora is forced to tap. The match is now tied at one fall a piece.

Two minutes left in the match and both opponents once again lay into eachother with forearms. Deppen is in desperation mode. He hits a knee to the back of Adora’s head and a double stomp off the top rope but can’t keep Adora’s shoulders on the mat for the 3 count. The clock is ticking as Adora gets a surprise crucifix pin on Deppen for three. Adora picks up her second fall as time runs out and the match is over. Trish Adora has won The Iron Match. Incredible match from these two competitors.
