Former Chikara student and Camp Leapfrog camper Joshua Wavra recently came under fire for a video that resurfaced. The video in question, which quickly caught traction, showcased them using the n-word. This caused Joshua to take to their Twitter and apologize to anyone who was let down by this behavior. This would only be the tip of the iceberg.
In a Google Doc, there were further racial allegations against Wavra. These include yelling the n-word out of the window at pedestrians while in a car and calling a person of color “boy” with a Southern accent. Beyond racial insensitivity, Wavra was also cited for acting in a sexually inappropriate manor in chat and saying that the writer of the doc, who struggled with their identity as a bisexual was “pretending.”

Since this has all come out, Joshua Wavra announced they would be indefinitely stepping away from wrestling and deactivated their Twitter. Along with this, Butch vs Gore announced that the Cassandro Cup First Round match between Wavra and AC Mack would not be airing on the show. Billy Dixon, who originally was going to take Wavra’s pay for working Butch vs Gore and donate it to a black charity, has since admitted to not knowing the other allegations and made the decision to omit Wavra’s match against Mack and still donate the money from shows they would’ve worked.
(1/3) We've decided to remove the First Round match of Joshua Wavra vs AC Mack from next Sunday's #CassandroCup airing. The result was Mack winning via pinfall, advancing to the semi-finals.

We apologize/appreciate AC Mack and our entire crew's grace the past few days.
