IWTV will be bringing their own host of brands down to sunny Florida for WrestleMania Weekend as they host their first ever Showcase of the Independents. Some of their most popular brands will be showing up, including Beyond, ICW No Holds Barred, and No Peace Underground. With so much wrestling being announced for one weekend, I just had to it narrow down to my ten most anticipated matches.

Make sure to watch IWTV’s Showcase of the Independents starting on Thursday April 8th at 12pm EST on IWTV. If you aren’t already subscribed to IWTV, you can sign up using promo code PWP. This helps out the team at PWPonderings.

Daniel Makabe vs Jaden Newman – IWTV Family Reunion Block A

In a showcase of Scenic City Invitational talents, 2019’s winner Daniel Makabe and Jaden Newman will square off. Both men have incredible wrestling talent and are looking to leave their mark on this weekend of wrestling. This is a match that will surely steal the whole show on Block A.

IWTV Independent Wrestling Championship: Lee Moriarty (c) vs Edith Surreal – IWTV Family Reunion Block A

The new IWTV Independent Wrestling Champion Lee Moriarty is set to defend his title for the first time. His opponent, the winner of the inaugural Cassandro Cup, Edith Surreal. These two put on a stellar contest in the Enjoy Cup, and now both get to do it again on the big stage that is the Showcase of the Independents.

UWFi Rules: Dominic Garrini vs Robert Martyr – IWTV Family Reunion Block A

Robert Martyr has certainly turned some heads through Paradigm’s UWFi Contenders Series. The Poisoned Youth has come into Season Two with a whole new edge. He now gets to test his metal against the UWFi-con himself, Dominic Garrini. This could be a star-making performance for Robert Martyr as submitting or knocking out Garrini could push him closer to a shot at the Heavy Hitters Championship.

Dan Maff vs Calvin Tankman – ICW No Holds Barred Vol. 11: Then & Now

The big boys are out in full effect in this battle. Tankman has spent the past year wowing audience with his Heavyweight Hustle. Tankman is gonna have to put that hustle into overdrive once he steps between the chains for the first time with former ROH star Dan Maff. Maff, who has made a career of breaking bodies still has much left in the tank and is looking to run through Tankman to reassert himself as The Boricua Badass.

Bruce Santee vs Justin Kyle III – ICW No Holds Barred Vol. 11: Then & Now

Bruce Santee and Justin Kyle have had two different slugfests in The Pit; each man with one win a piece. Now these two settle the score between the chains where things can prove to get really ugly. While its a toss up for who will come out the winner, one thing is for sure: these two will punch through each other in order to be claimed as the victor.

The Rejects (John Wayne Murdoch & Reed Bentley) & Neil Diamond Cutter vs The Carnage Crew (Tony DeVito & HC Loc) & New Jack – ICW No Holds Barred Vol. 11: Then & Now

This goes without saying but there will be no technical wrestling in this one. Its safe to say the chain-wrestling and mat knowledge will be kept at home in favor of blood and gore. In an announcement nobody saw coming, The Rejects, will take on the violent dream team that is The Carnage Crew and “The Original Gangsta” New Jack. New Jack is known to turn a Hardcore match into a crime scene and if The Rejects aren’t careful, they just might be read their last rights. This goes without saying but there will be no technical wrestling in this one. Casanova Valentine vs Mad Man Pondo (Special Guest Referee: Markus Crane) – No Peace Underground Presents: MurderMania

Two generations of Hardcore will collide at Casanova Valentine’s MurderMania. In Casanova’s way is former IWA-Mid South and JCW Heavyweight Champion, Mad Man Pondo. Both men have shed blood across countries and continents. In the middle of this action will be Markus Crane, who has the seemingly impossible job of officiating these two. Will Casanova seal a victory for the new school of violence? Or will Pondo use his years of ultraviolent experience to best Valentine?

Violence is Forever (Dominic Garrini & Kevin Ku) vs FinJuice (David Finley & Juice Robinson) – ACTION & Southern Underground Pro: Have Fun Be Sad

There has been a lot of talking about “opening doors” lately and this could be a huge door for Violence is Forever to break through. The two time IWTV Tag Team of the Year will be taking on New Japan team and current IMPACT Tag Team Champions, FinJuice. A win in this match for Dom and Ku could open up some serious opportunities for the pair.

Dave Cole vs Facade – Beyond Wrestling: Time Capsule

Beyond Wrestling is putting on something unique in their slot as some of their oldest names that have helped put them on the map reunite for one more show. One of these matches features the in ring return of Dave Cole; someone newer fans may know better as the artist behind the ring mats for the likes of New Japan and Beyond. His opponent, Facade is an artist in his own right as he always carries spray paint in hand on his way to the ring. Not to mention Facade’s acrobatic stylings that leaves any fan in awe. This battle of artists will surely lead to a masterpiece within the confines of the ring.

Neil Diamond Cutter vs Jeff King – ICW No Holds Barred Volume 12: Farewell to the Pawnshop

I personally consider this match to be the Battle of the Pain Sponges. Both men are known to take a serious ass beating and both can just as easily deal it back. While Neil has been a regular since his Pit Fighter X debut last October, Jeff King hasn’t been seen since his loss to John Wayne Murdoch last 4th of July. With that in mind, its easy to say that The Old Timer will be looking to make a big splash in his return match against The Honey Badger.
