On April 8th, 9th and 10th, IWTV will be presenting Showcase of the Independents. During the 3 day period, 9 events will be live streamed from Tampa, Florida. Promotions such as Beyond Wrestling, No Peace Underground and ICW No Holds Barred will all be delivering some fantastic shows at no additional cost to their monthly subscription of $10/month.

James Lascuola of PWPonderings shared a list of his ten most anticipated matches from the IWTV Showcase of the Independents shows, which can be seen HERE. Now here’s my list of ten shows I’m really looking forward to. Let us know on Twitter @PWPonderings which matches you’re looking forward to and what you think of our lists.

IWTV Independent Wrestling Championship: Lee Moriarty (c) vs. Edith Surreal – IWTV Family Reunion Block A

The newly crowned IWTV Independent Wrestling Champion Lee Moriarty will take on the inaugural Cassandro Cup winner Edith Surreal, formerly known as Still Life With Apricots and Pears. This will be Lee Moriarty’s first IWTV title defense since he ended WARHORSE’s history making 532 day title reign. Surreal is looking to make his first defense, his last. These two meet recently at Enjoy Wrestling in a very good contest. With these two having met before, this encounter should be better than the last.

Gary Jay vs. Billie Starkz – IWTV Family Reunion Block B

Here is a contest presented by St. Louis Anarchy that you would see take place inside Spaulding Hall. The fastest rising star on the scene Billie Starkz will be taking on one of the most dangerous men in professional wrestling, Gary Jay. This is a match asked for by Billie where Gary Jay was reluctant to take at first. Billie is going to have to make sure she doesn’t get hit with his vicious elbows. Gary is going to have to make sure he doesn’t hold back. If he’s hesitant, he could lose the match. Either way, this match is going to be awesome.

Jake Crist vs. Nolan Edward – ICW No Holds Barred Volume 11: Then & Now

Here’s a match that might be the sleeper match of the entire week. The current IWA Mid-South Heavyweight Champion Jake Crist has been on a tare in promotions such as IWA and Unsanctioned Pro. He is taking on the man who has been taking independent wrestling by storm, Nolan Edward. On a show that’s named Then and Now, this is the perfect example of just that. Edward has youth on his side but don’t sleep on Crist. The near 20 year veteran is in the best shape of his career.

Ace Austin vs. Jamie Senegal – MurderMania

MurderMania presented by No Peace Underground and Casanova Valentine might be my most anticipated show of the 3 day block from IWTV. To say this show is stacked might be an understatement. In this contest we see long time friends squaring off with one another. The Impact X-Division Champion Ace Austin will be making his No Peace Underground debut. He will be facing someone who has been on a role lately in No Peace Underground, Jamie Senegal. Senegal is on a winning streak, recently defeating Sawyer Wreck, Su Yung and Devon Monroe. Can she keep the streak going? We will have to see.

Treehouse Lee vs. JJ Garrett – MurderMania

Two of the brightest young stars to step inside a ring, will do battle, outside of a ring? It is unclear what to expect from this MurderMania show, but what we do know is this will be a crazy contest. Treehouse Lee is one of the most innovative wrestlers in all of professional wrestling. He is also no stranger to No Peace Underground, while JJ Garrett is making his No Peace debut. Garrett gets better and better each time I see him. This should be a good one.

Violence is Forever (Dominic Garrini and Kevin Ku) vs. FinJuice (David Finley and Juice Robinson) – ACTION & Southern Underground Pro: Have Fun Be Sad

The current Black Label Pro and Southern Underground Pro Tag Team Champions will be taking on the Impact Tag Team Champions. Violence Is Forever always delivers inside the ring while FinJuice will look to make a huge statement in what is their only booking for the week. The fact that this match is even happening is completely bonkers. This one will be an absolute banger.

Nolan Edward vs. Angelus Layne – ACTION & Southern Underground Pro: Have Fun Be Sad

Here is a rematch of their match from their encounter at ACTION Wrestling’s “The Tonight Show With Matt Sells.” A match that was absolutely brutal. If you haven’t seen it, stop what you’re doing and go watch it right now. Now they meet again but this time it’s Unsanctioned, meaning ACTION and SUP have no responsibility for what happens in this one. Expect this to be insane.

Jordan Oliver vs. JD Drake – Tony Deppen Presents Bier Haus

Jordan Oliver has a huge week ahead of him. As of writing this, this is one of 7 shows that Oliver will be competing in, including a huge match with Lio Rush. But this match right here is intriguing. I’m expecting JD Drake to come into this match on fire. Oliver is going to have to avoid the massive chops from The Blue Collar Badass if he wants to make it out of Tampa alive.

Brayden Lee vs. Ace Austin – Tony Deppen Presents Bier Haus

Another match on Tony Deppen’s Bier Haus sees the bright young star Brayden Lee taking on one of the top stars in wrestling and current Impact X-Division Champion Ace Austin. Expect a ton of flips in this match. You can also expect this to be a breakout performance for Brayden Lee, win or lose.

Dan Maff vs. Nolan Edward – ICW No Holds Barred Volume 12: Farewell to the Pawnshop

A rematch of their encounter from Pitfighter X 3. Nolan Edward had an open challenge and Dan Maff answered it, making his surprise return to ICW after a 10 month absence. This match saw Nolan Edward get thrown at a concrete wall and even out the window of the Blood Shed. Now instead of being inside the Pit, this battle will take place between the chains. Another test for Nolan Edward on his busy week.
