Glory Pro Wrestling Presents Wild Ambition took place on Saturday May 22nd at the South Broadway Athletic Club in St. Louis, Missouri. This event can be watched on the Highspots Wrestling Network.

An announcement is made at the beginning of the show that AJ Gray is still injured and unable to defend the Crown of Glory Championship. The title is now vacated. Jake Something makes his entrance with the Crown of Glory Championship around his waist. He wants to be announced as the champion. Myron Reed enters the picture. Rohit Raju comes out shortly after. He says he wants to add another title around his waist. States they have history but not in this company. The main event is set as a three way dance for the vacant Crown of Glory Championship.

No Role Modelz take the early advantage on both Matt Knicks and Chris Castro. This doesn’t last too long as 4 Star Heroes end up controlling majority of the match, cutting ATM from his corner. ATM finally finds an opening and tags out to Chris Hendrix. Hendrix comes in on fire. ATM and Hendrix are able to double team Castro, hitting both a frog splash and 450 to gain the victory.

Six way scramble is underway. The ring is cleared and the two biggest men are in the ring, Xavier Walker and Storm Grayson. No one is able to take the big Xavier Walker down. Grayson is finally able to take the big man out with a running knee to the face. There’s non stop action from all competitors. Grayson hits an insane piledriver and backpack stunner on two of his opponents. Ethan Price hits a superplex on Seishin but Seishin hits an inside cradle for the victory.

Women’s action is up now with Blair Onyx taking on Allie Katch. Some good technical wrestling from the start. Allie controls the match. Crowd starts to chant “meow” which causes Allie to take out her frustrations on Onyx. Onyx is able to get back into the match with some much needed momentum. Both competitors trade forearm stikes in the middle of the ring. The match goes back and forth until Allie locks in the Boston Crab. Allie bridges back and Onyx is forced to tap. Brutal submission victory.

The following match is for the Impact Wrestling X-Division Championship as Josh Alexander defends against Glory Pro favorite, Mike Outlaw. The match starts off as a back and forth technical contest between the two. Outlaw takes control of the match and starts to work the left arm of Alexander. Alexander turns the tables and slows down the pace of the match. Alexander wears down his opponent. Both men get into a chop battle but Alexander doesn’t allow his opponent to get any momentum.

Alexander continues to beat down Outlaw until Outlaw finds an opening. The match becomes more of a back and forth contest now. Outlaw is taking a beating but continues to fight back. Alexander is in big trouble as Outlaw locks in a single leg crab. Alexander takes off his head gear and hits Outlaw with it to fight out. Outlaw locks it in again but the bell rings. The 30 minute time limit has expired. The crowd chants for 5 more minutes. Josh Alexander grabs a mic and says he’ll come back to face Outlaw but only if he is able to capture the Crown of Glory Championship.

A huge size difference between the next two competitors. Kody Lane with a big height advantage. Lane hits a pump kick to kick off the contest. Lander is in control until he goes to the second rope. This is scouted by Lane who knocks him off. The momentum goes in Lane’s favor. Lane controls the majority of the match, stopping Lander anytime he tries to make a comeback. Lander is finally able to turn the tables. He hits a Jaydriller but only gets a nearfall. Lane immediately comes back with a DVD onto the ring apron. He tosses Lander back inside the ring and wins with a beautiful single leg step up lionsault.

A series of wristlocks and headlocks to kick off the match. The beginning of the match goes in Arik Cannon’s favor. Dan The Dad fires back. Dan takes off his belt and tries to whip Cannon with it but is unable to. A fisherman’s suplex is unable to keep Cannon down. Later on Cannon attempts to bring a chair into play. While the referee is getting rid of the chair Cannon low blows Dan. He then wraps the belt around his fist and punches Dan in the face. This puts Dan away with a 3 count. Despite picking up the victory, Cannon beats down Dan the Dad with his boot.

Big test for Paco coming up against Lee Moriarty. Crowd expresses their hatred for Paco as he controls the match. He’s working at a slow pace and is breaking down his opponent. Moriarty finds an opening and starts to speed up the pace. This doesn’t last long as Paco hits an enziguri and a lungblower. Every time Moriarty tries to get back into the match Paco finds a way to cut him off. Moriarty hits a spear out of nowhere and follows up with an elevated flatliner. This is able to put Paco away.

Main event time as Rohit Raju, Myron Reed and Jake Something battle it out for the vacant Crown of Glory Championship. AJ Gray accompanies Reed to the ring and is in his corner for the match. The pace of the match starts off quick as both men take turns trying to get the big man down. This works and upsets Something. He tries to walk out with the title but the match continues. Both men attempt dives onto Something but he catches them both. Something tries to use a chair on Reed but is stopped by AJ Gray. Gray is then taken to the back by security. Back inside the ring all three men exchange moves with Something using his power to come out on top.

All three men battle it out inside the ring for the remainder of the match. The ending comes when Reed attempts to hit Raju with a springboard cutter. Sometimes pushes Raju out of the way and hits Reed with a lowblow. He follows up with a sidewalk slam to gain the victory. Jake Something becomes a two time Crown of Glory Champion.

Overall: Another entertaining show from Glory Pro Wrestling. Both the Josh Alexander vs. Mike Outlaw and the 3-way main event are worth going out of your way to see. Make sure to watch this event on the Highspots Wrestling Network.
