Scarlett is someone who has been striking fear into her opponents in the Western Pennsylvania area and beyond for years now and is looking to break out and find more victims at Paradigm Pro’s UWFI Contenders series.   The contender’s series is going to feature some of the current top names like Tom Lawlor, Jordan Blade, Trish Adora and Bobby Beverly, along with upcoming stars like Max Zero, Victor Analog, Killa Kate and Joseph Alexander.  While Scarlet prefers to do most of her talking in the ring, and mostly with violence, she was kind enough to answer a few questions for me.

I asked Scarlet to introduce herself to those that may be seeing her for the first time at Paradigm and she said, “Hmmmm.. Well, I have always seen myself as an entity. The true embodiment of fear, rage, and pain. All wrapped up and encaged in the vessel of the time. But I’m not gonna hoot and holler. If ya didn’t know, ultimate domination is the game. I’m wreaking chaos and I promise..NO ONE is safe.”

In January of 2017 Scarlett started training at the Fight Society Institute under Quinn Magnum.  She began wrestling for Fight Society in Pittsburgh and pretty much destroyed every opponent she faced until she came face to face with another monster in Max the Impaler.  This was an absolute battle between 2 powerhouses, where neither one would give an inch.  I told Scarlett that I very much enjoyed that match and wanted to know her thoughts on it and if she has a favorite opponent .  She snarled and said, “Max.. was a nuisance. More like a King than a pawn. Yet this Monstress is no fool. I played the game, and played it well. And Max came to realize that quickly. But for the rest. Meaning all my past “opponents.” I really couldn’t pick a favorite victim. They were all SO satisfying. “

The lineup of The Contenders Series includes all types of wrestlers, from technical grapplers, to brawlers and hardcore fighters.  Scarlett is used to having the size advantage against most of her opponents, but that may not be the case in some of these matchups, like if she were to face someone like Hoodfoot for example.  Of the 35 wrestlers announced for the tournament only 4 other potential opponents, or as she would call them, “victims”, are female.  Scarlett is not someone who is new to mixed gender matches, as she has competed in them her whole life.  When I asked about fighting men, she seemed a little confused by the question and responded, “What are speaking of? A mode? A psyche? 1 thing’s for certain is that I am not weak minded. I approach any fight as I do them all. All victims, no scraps.”  I then asked her if there is anyone that she is hoping to fight and she stated, “Well if Ima go hard. I’ll shoot for someone that I have seeked for a while. I don’t have no problem going for one of the biggest dogs. So I’d gladly say I’d love to brutalize Trish Adora.”  That would be quite a matchup as we know that Trish is not going to back down from anyone, but I don’t know if even she has faced anyone with the power and intensity of Scarlett.

This tournament is going to pose some new challenges for Scarlett, as she has never fought under UWFI rules before and I think she would rather fight with no rules if she had the choice.  I asked her about having to fight under the UWFI rules and she said, “I have been known to bend the rules at my whim. But I have been prepping myself in the mindscape. Brooding for the momentous occasion. Something is.. coming. And no, I don’t think the people of paradigm are prepared.”

Before ending the interview, I asked Scarlett if there is anything else she would like to say and she said, “Not much to add. Just a warning though, to all the UWFI Contenders and such. Watch yourselves, cause I may have only brief spells in different types of martial arts..but I’m not a B**CH to mess with. Cause these streets raised me well.”

Scarlett may not be a well-known name like some other people in the tournament, but if anyone takes her lightly, they are in for quite a bit of pain.  She only has one mode and that is straight ahead violence, and she will not stop until her opponent is down for good.
