Tonight, MLW aired the 2021 War Chamber match In lieu of a regular episode of Fusion Alpha. This year’s War Chamber match featured CONTRA (Jacob Fatu, Mads Krugger, Ikuro Kwon and two Sentai Death Squad members) taking on the Hammerheads (Alex Hammerstone, Richard Holliday, EJ Nduka, Savio Vega and a mystery partner). Notes from War Chamber Match
- CONTRA won the coin toss, which gave them the advantage of having more competitors in the cage throughout the match.
- Jacob Fatu and Jeff Cobb were the two competitors who started the match.
- The order of entries for this contest were: Sentai Death Squad Member #1, Savio Vega, Ikuro Kwon, Richard Holliday, Sentai Death Squad Member #2, EJ Nduka, Mads Krugger & lAlex Hammerstone.
- Towards the end of the match, Jacob Fatu was shoved into Mads Krugger, which caused dissent between the two men. Jacob also ended up accidentally diving onto Krugger a few moments later.
- Alex Hammerstone won the match for his team after putting Ikuro Kwon into a torture rack.
Other Show Highlights
- Cesar Duran announced that MLW would host Underground Fight Clubs in Mexico come 2022. These fights will include members of Azteca Underground taking on members of the MLW roster.
- 5150 called out Los Parks and claimed that they would soon be the new Tag Team Champions.
- Gnarls Garvin’s MLW debut was announced for next week’s Thanksgiving edition of Fusion Alpha.
- A ladder match for the vacant National Openweight Championship was announced for next week’s broadcast. The match will include Alex Shelley, Myron Reed, Zenshi, Alex Kane and a mystery participant. Additionally, the last Semi-Final Opera Cup Tournament Match between TJP and Calvin Tankman will take place next week.
- Jeff Cobb made his MLW debut in the War Chamber match as the final member of Team Hammerheads.
- Following the War Chamber match, Jacob Fatu and Mads Krugger brawled with one another. Fatu ended up going on a rampage and attacking numerous members of CONTRA, including Ikruo Kwon. Fatu and the rest of CONTRA eventually had to be pulled apart by security.
- At the end of the show, Cesar Duran and Karlee Perez discussed plans for an allegiance going forward.
