We are several days removed from the first ever Wrestival event, an event that bought us 7 shows in a matter of 3 days. The huge weekend took place at The White Eagle in Worcester, Massachusetts and included events from Beyond Wrestling, Pizza Party Pro, ACTION/SUP, Wrestling Open, H2O and Limitless Wrestling. This article includes ten must see matches that took place over the course of those three days.
Violence Is Forever vs. The Mane Event vs. Salt The Earth vs. Kings of the District – Pizza Party Pro Wrestling Presents Big Eyes Bigger Dreams
Pizza Party Pro kicked off Wrestival with Big Eyes Bigger Dreams, and here is one of the most anticipated matches from that show. A match with some of the best tag teams on the indie scene today. Lots of action throughout this match, as you would expect.
Tag Team Discovery Gauntlet Match: Miracle Generation vs. Above The Rest – Beyond Wrestling Uncharted Territory Season 3 Finale
The Discovery Gauntlet has been a huge hit for Beyond Wrestling throughout the Uncharted Territory seasons. This season got eyes on The Mane Event, Waves and Curls and now The Miracle Generation. This match was completely insane and stole the show on the Season 3 finale.
Adam Priest vs. Alec Price – ACTION Wrestling and Southern Underground Pro Presents “KEVINNNN!!!”
One of the top heels in the Northeast meets one of the top heels in the South. This is also a match between one of the top breakout stars of 2021 and Adam Priest who is bound to have a breakout year in 2022. The future of wrestling in one fantastic match.
Hot Wheelz vs. Violence Is Forever – ACTION Wrestling and Southern Underground Pro Presents “KEVINNNN!!!”
A rematch 3 years in the making. The 3 time Tag Team of the Year winners take on the team of Hot Wheelz. Violence Is Forever came up short in their first encounter but they are now much more experienced. If you’re looking for tag team wrestling at it’s finest, this is the match for you.
JD Drake vs. SLADE – Beyond Wrestling Heavy Lies The Crown ’21
Not the normal No Disqualification Match from Slade that we’ve been seeing most of 2021, but it’s still a fight. A hard hitting contest against “The Blue Collar Badass” JD Drake leaves Slade’s chest completely red and bloody. This was a huge test for Slade and he received the respect from Drake at the end of it.
Jonathan Gresham and Rhett Titus vs. Tracy Williams and Wheeler YUTA – Beyond Wrestling Heavy Lies The Crown ’21
The technical masterpiece that you would expect from these four men that know eachother very well. 3/4 of these men are part of The Foundation but didn’t hold back in facing eachother. This Heavy Lies The Crown co-main event is one of the best technical matches you’ll see from the entire weekend. Great way to end 2021 for Beyond Wrestling.
Aaron Rourke vs. Ava Everett vs. Bobby Orlando vs. CPA – Wrestling Open
With an unannounced card, fans didn’t know what to expect going into the pilot episode of Wrestling Open. Here’s a match between four talented competitors with a little bit of story to it, as Aaron Rourke has been friends and teammates with both Bobby Orlando and Arte member Ava Everett. This four way ended up stealing the show.
Masha Slamovich vs. Mickie Knuckles – H2O Wrestling Presents Massacre In Massachusetts
A match between Masha Slamovich and Mickie Knuckles was exactly how you would expect it to be, brutal. Both women are the toughest and baddest in wrestling right now and they went to war with eachother. There’s some disgusting headbutts in this match that aren’t for the faint of heart.
Anthony Greene vs. Marcus Mathers – H2O Wrestling Presents Massacre In Massachusetts
A surprise opponent for Marcus Mathers after Alex Shelley had to drop off Wrestival weekend. Anthony Greene returning to his “home” in Worcester while debuting for H2O Wrestling. To start off the match Greene told Marcus he had to earn his handshake and by the end of the match he done just that. Would love to see a rematch down the line.
Alec Price vs. JD Drake – Limitless Wrestling Presents Limitless Worcester
The final match of the weekend just happen to be the best match of the weekend. JD Drake is one of the best wrestlers out there and he challenged Alec Price for the Limitless Wrestling Championship. Be sure to watch what many are already calling this a match of the year contender.
