Konosuke Takeshita has confirmed that his US excursion is coming to an end soon. In a tweet Takeshita states that he’s going back to Japan for DDT’s big show on August 20th. He goes on to say he hopes to come back to the United States soon.

During his tour of the US Takeshita has been a regular at All Elite Wrestling. He has also appeared for independent wrestling promotions such as PWG, Prestige Wrestling, West Coast Pro and Jersey Championship Wrestling. This past Saturday he squared off against Josh Alexander at Garden State Pro in a battle that ended in a 20 minute time limit draw.

This past weekend he also conducted a seminar alongside Joshi Wrestling star Miyu Yamashita which was held in New Jersey and hosted by Garden State Pro Wrestling.

If you are unfamiliar with his body of work, we suggest you check out some of his matches in his US indie run during his excursion. Takeshita has had fantastic matches with the likes of Cole Radrick, Speedball Mike Bailey, Kevin Blackwood, Lee Moriarty and Josh Alexander.

In AEW he has taken on the likes of Adam Page, Eddie Kingston and AEW Interim World Champion Jon Moxley.
