It was reported by Variety.com that MLW Underground TV series is in the midst of a ten-week run on REELZ network. This is due to REELZ signing a deal with Peacock to bring their linear channel and some on demand content to NBC Universal’s Peacock streaming platform.

MLW programming will not be included in the deal being WWE has exclusive rights with Peacock in the pro wrestling category. REELZ will not stream on Peacock when MLW Underground airs at 10pm ET on Tuesday nights.

If the 10 week timeframe is accurate, that would mean the last MLW episode on REELZ would air Tuesday, April 11th. The report by Variety is interesting being PWInsider noted that internally at REELZ, Major League Wrestling is listed for all new episodes to run at least through Tuesday, April 25.

MLW was approached for comments on the Variety claim, and responded that REELZ would be issuing a statement. The following statement was issued to PWInsider:

“No decisions have been made by MLW or REELZ and we are both committed to a good outcome for MLW, its fans and REELZ.”

MLW is set for War Chamber and tv tapings on April 6th in NYC. As well as Battle Riot V and tv tapings on April 8th in Philadelphia. Please stay tuned for updates as they come along.
