Yesterday marked the 100th day of Matt Tremont as IWTV Independent Wrestling World Champion. As of right now, Tremont has the 9th longest reign of the championship. He’s approaching Orange Cassidy’s 2nd reign at 104 days and Alex Shelley’s 105 day reign.

Tremont captured the Independent Wrestling World Championship at IWTV’s “Class of ’22” during The Wrestival on December 30, 2022. He defeated AC Mack, Adam Priest, Alex Shelley, Hoodfoot, Tracy Williams, Trish Adora and WARHORSE in a gauntlet match to capture the vacant championship. Since winning the championship, “The Bulldozer” has defeated Jaden Newman, Sidney Bakabella and AKIRA.

Last Monday at H2O’s Hustlepalooza, Tremont and challenger Brandon Kirk went to a no contest in their title match due to interference from Krule. No word yet as to when Tremont’s next title defense will be.
