According to Bodyslam.net Colby Corino is once again a free agent. Back in January the website reported that Corino had signed a WWE contract and was expected to report to Orlando’s Performance Center in March. However, since then with WWE being sold to Endeavor, there has been a hiring freeze.

Sources told Bodyslam that Colby had yet to officially sign a contract, instead he was offered a deal, to which both sides had agreed on. However, after WWE was sold to Endeavor the company’s hiring process stopped.

Corino last appearance inside a ring was back in February at Deadlock Pro where he competed in a World Championship vs Career Match against Lucky Ali. He has also competed for promotions such as ICW No Holds Barred, Black Label Pro, H2O and GCW. Expect to see him back in independent wrestling soon.
