With Kasey Kirk heading in to Tournament of Survival 8, I decided to do a little research and look into her history. Kasey is one of three women competing in this year’s tournament.

I am going to be focusing on the year 2022 and 2023 for Kasey in ICW No Holds Barred and her match with Rina in GCW but before we get into that if you don’t know about Kasey Kirk. She debuted back in 2017 and has been wrestling for 5 years trained at Create A Pro. She has been in many independent promotions including GCW. H2O, No Peace Underground, CZW and many more. She is the standard of what a deathmatch wrestler is and should be.  I can’t wait to see what is next for Kasey Kirk.

In ICW NHB, Kasey Kirk took over ICW NHB starting off 2022 by defeating JWM at ICW NHB Pitfighter 10. Over the course of this year she took on many different opponents including Joel Bateman, Eric Ryan, Danny Demanto, Brandon Kirk and many more. She definitely wanted to make a statement and that she did.

In October of 2022 ICW would make their way over to Australia and one of my favourite matches from the tour over there was when Kasey teamed up with Krule to take on Mad Dog and Vixsin. They were over in Australia touring for 3 days. This was a great series of shows and you should definitely go check them out on IWTV where you can catch hundreds of promotions and shows for just $9.99 a month.

Kasey picked up the ICW American Deathmatch World Title when she defeated Joel Bateman for it at ICW No Holds Barred 32. She would then go on to hold the championship for 98 days before Brandon Kirk gained the championship beating her at ICW No Holds Barred 39. In her title defences she took on Mickie Knuckles, Matt Tremont, Orin Veidt and more.

In 2023 ICW No Holds Barred made a tour over to the UK in early February where Kasey took on two of our deathmatch wrestlers and those being Big Joe and Session Moth Martina although she didn’t come out with a win in these matches it was great to see her go against a couple of the UK’s best. I can’t wait to see them return in December. Since returning from the UK Kasey has faced Tommy Vendetta, Jeff Cannonball and LuFisto.

At GCW’s “Holy Smokes” Kasey took on Rina for her ultraviolent championship. This was her GCW debut. The match was an incredible way to spotlight what both Kasey and Rina bring to the table with the blood spilling. This is definitely a match to watch as it goes to highlight just how much they are willing to put their bodies on the line. Many different weapons were involved including a pane of glass and light tubes as well as a barbed wire door. Kasey put absolutely everything in to this match and it was a violent spectacle to say the least.

You can watch Kasey this Saturday June 3rd as part of GCW’s Tournament of Survival 8. She will be taking on Rina Yamashita and Sawyer Wreck in an opening round match. The event will take place live from The Showboat in Atlantic City, New Jersey and stream on FITE+.
