War Games is returning to GCW coming this October.

At Homecoming Part Two this past Sunday, Rina Yamashita successfully defended her GCW Ultraviolent Championship against Violento Jack in the main event. Following the match, Jack attacked Yamashita and a brawl broke out between GCW roster members Nick Gage and John Wayne Murdoch against members of the FREEDOMS roster Toru Sugiura and Takashi Sasaki.

Following the brawl, Gage grabbed a microphone and challenged FREEDOMS to a War Games match. GCW owner Brett Lauderdale made it official with an announcement on Twitter. On October 7th it will be Team Freedoms consisting of Jun Kasai, Masashi Takeda, Takashi Sasaki, Violento Jack and Toru Sugiura taking on Team GCW. The members of GCW are unknown as of right now, but it seems like Nick Gage, John Wayne Murdoch and Rina Yamashita will be 3 out of the 5 members of Team GCW.

The feud started back in June at Tournament of Survival 8. Following Rina Yamashita’s TOS win, she was attacked by Tomoya Hirata and Toru Sugiura, as well as a surprise appearance of Jun Kasai.

This will be the third ever War Games match in Game Changer Wrestling.

The Art of War Games will take place on Columbus Day weekend on Saturday October 7th at The Showboat in Atlantic City, New Jersey. More information on the event including ticket on sale date will be coming soon.
