Steph De Lander has been pulled from some events taking place this weekend for reasons unknown.

De Lander was scheduled to challenge Storm Grayson for the Freelance World Championship at tonight’s Freelance Wrestling’s “Before The Fall” event in Chicago. Freelance tweeted “Due to an unfortunate circumstance, Steph De Lander will not be able to appear this evening.” Storm Grayson has now put out an open challenge for his Freelance World Championship.

EFFY has also announced that De Lander won’t be appearing at EFFY’s Big Gay Brunch 7 on Saturday afternoon, tweeting out “hey we wish Steph De Lander a magic recovery in her troubles!” She was originally supposed to face Dark Sheik. Dark Sheik will now be in a three way match against Kidd Bandit and independent wrestling hall of famer LuFisto.

De Lander is also scheduled to compete at Prestige Wrestling’s “Roseland 6” event taking place on Friday in Portland, Oregon. As od writing this, Prestige has yet to put out a statement or replacement for her match with Amira.

She is also scheduled to appear at Starrcast in Chicago on Saturday and Sunday.

Steph De Lander has yet to comment on the situation. There is also no word yet as to if she will miss anymore bookings in the future. We wish De Lander the speediest of recoveries.
