MLW Fusion Episode #180 Results & Recap

This episode of MLW Fusion was dedicated to the memory of Terry Funk and Windham Rotunda (Bray Wyatt).

We get a video package on Alex Kane and Willie Mack-next, the intro music for Fusion. Joe Dombrowski and Matt Striker were on commentary for this episode. Dombrowski promotes Alex Kane vs. Willie Mack for the MLW Heavyweight Title at MLW’s Fury Road event this Sunday.

We were shown another video package geared for the road to Fury Road for Kane and Mack. Kane is shown working out in Big Bear, California. Mike Tyson and Oscar De La Hoya were in this segment. Kane spoke about beating Mack for Bomaye. From there we go to South Central Los Angeles, California. It is there we catch up with Willie Mack, and he talks about his life story.

Next, we are shown a replay of the match between Alex Hammerstone and Alex Kane at MLW Never Say Never for the MLW Heavyweight Championship. The night Kane became heavyweight champion.

Now, two weeks from Fury Road, we get more back-and-forth promos between Kane and Mack.

Three days ahead of Fury Road, Kane and Mr Thomas are shown meeting Josiah, who is identified as an associate of Don King. He presented Kane with a watch that King wanted him to have.

We go to Mack now, and he was asked if he ever works out. He said he does when he chases his cats around. Mack said he is athletically gifted. 

We are then shown Mack’s win over Lio Rush and John Hennigan in a Triple Threat match from the MLW Fusion episode # 173.

One last video package is shown for the final advertisement for MLW Fury Road this Sunday.
