On Friday night, September 15th, Create A Pro held its big event, Heartache Tonight. The show featured a lot of great moments and matches including, Rosemary making her Create A Pro debut against Notorious Mimi, Gabby Forza in a Create A Pro Women’s Championship first-round match against Ariela Nyx, and Bryce Donovan defending his Create A Pro Championship against Evil Kip in a title vs. career match.

Create A Pro Mayhem Medal match: The Sweeper (c) vs. Cliff Marshall vs. Sebastian Amor vs. JGeorge vs. Tristian Kyle

Winner and still Create A Pro Mayhem Medal owner: The Sweeper

The show kicks off hot with a scramble match for the Create A Pro Mayhem Medal. The Sweeper remained one of the most popular stars at Create A Pro today, and it was awesome to see the return of one of the CAP OG’s, Cliff Marshall. Tristian Kyle also made his debut in this match and looked absolutely incredible. The match was a lot of fun and saw Sweeper pin Tristian Kyle to retain his Mayhem Medal. The match showed a lot of the younger talents of Create A Pro do what they do best. Kyle looked great in his debut, Amor, and JGeorge continued to look good and there wasn’t a bad thing to say about this match. A lot of promise in the future of Create A Pro.

Dante Drago vs. Bronson

Winner: Bronson

This was a personal favorite match of mine. The match begins with Drago charging and taking the fight to Bronson, to not much avail. Bronson quickly overpowers him and the fight is on. While it was a great back-and-forth bout, it would be Bronson who would be victorious. Drago looked like he had the match won more than once, but it was not to be on this night. Dante Drago showed a ton of promise and potential in this match against one of the top Create A Pro stars to ever come out of the Create A Pro Wrestling Academy. Drago is the best, Drago #1!

Create A Pro Women’s Championship Tournament First Match: Gabby Forza vs. Ariela Nyx

Winner: Gabby Forza

This match was historic on a bunch of levels. It was the first first-round match for the Create A Pro Women’s Championship tournament match. This marked the beginning of crowning the first ever Create A Pro Women’s Champion. It’s not very often that Create A Pro sees their general manager, Ariela Nyx, in physical action, but tonight the fans were graced with that opportunity. This was a quick match that ended with a roll-up.

However, Nyx said as the GM she was restarting the match with no roll-ups aloud. This time around, Nyx would once again lose via submission and would restart the match one more time. Forza would ultimately take out Jay Mesias, and Pat Fitzpatrick, and land a spear on Nyx to officially win the match. It’s hard to believe Forza just started this year with how good she looks in the ring. A lot of promise and potential and the sky is truly the limit for her. It was also a ton of fun to see Nyx in a match again on Create A Pro.

Vargas vs. Nick Robles

Winner: Vargas

Nick Robles makes his way out to the ring first, followed by the “Dominican Destroyer” Vargas. It’s awesome seeing Robles begin to get more singles opportunities to show his skill. Another one of Create A Pro’s young guns, it’s easy to see the potential and promise he possesses. While Vargas dominates the match, Robles tries his hardest to fight back into the swing of things. Ultimately, it’s Vargas who’s victorious, despite a valiant effort from Robles. Vargas continues to look as dominant as ever. After the match, Vargas calls for Mesias and Fitzpatrick and the three beat down Robles. Bronson makes the save and Brian Myers announces on October 13th, that Bronson and Vargas will face off with Impact star, Moose in a triple-threat match. HOSS FIGHT!

Steve Somerset and Phil Cardigan vs. Adrenaline Express (VSK and Eric James)

Winners: Adrenaline Express

After Phil Cardigan and Steve Somerset, made their entrance, VSK and Eric James came out to Long Island’s favorite entrance, “I Want It That Way” by Eric James. VSK says that next month they want the Create A Pro Tag Team Championships. Somerset attacks VSK from behind and quickly takes the fight to Adrenaline Express. This doesn’t last long as Eric James regains momentum and control of the match. Ultimately, at the end of a very fun match, it’s Adrenaline Express that is victorious. A fantastic match by all four men from beginning to end.

Max Caster vs. “The Artist Known As” Jake Lang

Winner: Max Caster

This match marked the return of The Acclaimed’s Max Caster to Create A Pro. Caster went one-on-one with “The Artist Known As” Jake Lang. Lang, who turned heel on Caster’s Shook Crew mate, Bobby Orlando at the last show. This permanently ended his Dr. Cool persona. After Caster hits a freestyle rap on Lang, the match begins. Lang looked absolutely incredible in this match. Despite his attitude change, I’m very excited to see Lang continue to progress on the darker side of things. Ultimately, Caster would be victorious after a phenomenal back-and-forth match. This one could have been the match of the night. After the match, Bobby Orlando challenges Lang to an “anything goes” match next month in Melville.

Create A Pro Tag Team Championship match: Midlife Express (CPA and Kevin Tibbs) (c) vs. Birds of the Sun (GKM and Leo Sparrow)

Winners and still Create A Pro Tag Team Champions: Midlife Express

This match features one of the most popular tag teams in Create A Pro today, the Midlife Express, defending their Create A Pro Tag Team Championships against one of the top up-and-coming tag teams in Create A Pro today, the Birds of the Sun. GKM and Leo Sparrow did a great job at separating CPA from his partner Kevin Tibbs, controlling the tempo of the match. CPA finally hit Tibbs with the hot tag and Tibbs came in and took the fight to both GKM and Sparrow. After some more great back-and-forth action, ultimately it would be Midlife Express who would retain their Create A Pro Tag Team Championships, as Kevin Tibbs pins Leo Sparrow. Fantastic tag match from all four men.

Create A Pro Television Championship match: Bobby Orlando (c) vs. Liam Davis

Winner and still Create A Pro Television Champion: Bobby Orlando

This match saw two of the more established wrestle furs on the Create A Pro roster face off for one of the top prizes in Create A Pro, the Create A Pro Television Championship. Bobby Orlando faced off with Liam Davis in an absolutely incredible match that featured a lot of great back-and-forth action. Ultimately, it would be Bobby Orlando who would be victorious. Davis looked amazing in defeat, and Orlando continued to remain one of the top guys at Create A Pro.

Create A Pro Women’s Championship Tournament First-Round Match: Notorious Mimi vs. Rosemary

Winner: Notorious Mimi

The second first-round match of the night saw Notorious Mimi go one-on-one with IMPACT Wrestling star, Rosemary. This match marks the debut of Rosemary in Create A Pro. Rosemary quickly went on the offensive, and took the fight to Mimi. Mimi fights back into the match and gets the best of Rosemary with a lariat. Ultimately, Mimi would be victorious when she hits the 619 followed by a spinning kick for the three-count. Mimi and Rosemary both looked incredible in this match and the Create A Pro Women’s Championship Tournament is taking shape.

Create A Pro Championship “Title vs. Career” match: Bryce Donovan (c) vs. Evil Kip

Winner and still Create A Pro Champion: Bryce Donovan

Evil Kip made his way out to the ring ahead of what could be his final match first, as he was followed by Bryce Donovan who made his entrance next with the fans fully behind him. The match starts off with a feeling-out process of sorts between the two men. Donovan reminded Kip that if he loses in any way he will need to leave Create A Pro forever. The crowd joins Donovan as he tries to count Kip out, but Kip makes his way back into the ring.

Donovan tries to go high-risk but Kip does his homework and gains the upper hand in this match, capitalizing on Donovan’s mistake. After some time of being controlled by Kip, Donovan gets back into the swing of things, landing a blackhole slam on Kip for just a two-count. Donovan accidentally superkicks referee Steve Dumeng and lands a chokeslam on Kip for a three-count but there’s no ref.

Kip tries to hit Donovan over the head with the title but instead calls for his finisher. Donovan gets low-blowed by Kip and Kip hits his finisher for a two-count. Kip finally connects with the title and pins Donovan for the three-count. However, his foot was on the bottom rope. and referee Steve Dumeng noticed this. This restarts the match.

Ultimately, it is Bryce Donovan who wins the match to retain his Create A Pro Championship. Evil Kip’s Create A Pro career is over. Donovan grabs a mic and calls for anyone who wants to thank Evil Kip. The Sweeper, alongside other Create A Pro stars, uses a broom to sweep Evil Kip out of the ring. Nick Robles, Kevin Tibbs, Steve Somerset, Phil Cardigan, and CPA carry Kip outside of the venue and throw him outside in the parking lot.

Donovan challenges anyone to step up and some of Aaron Rourke’s minions attack him from behind. It looks like Aaron Rourke vs. Bryce Donovan for the Create A Pro Championship will be happening very soon.

By Scott Mitchell

Hello, my name is Scott Mitchell and I have been a professional wrestling fan since 2005. Like everyone the first promotion I really fell in love with is the WWE. However, as I got older, I got largely into the greatness known as independent wrestling. Independent wrestling has turned into one of my biggest passions. Please enjoy!
