We kick off this week’s fusion with the broadcast team of Joe Dombrowski and Matt Striker standing and speaking to the camera, when they were interrupted by Salina de la Renta. Salina took Dombrowski’s mic and told everyone to stay tuned because she had a big announcement.

From there, we go into the intro music and opening for Fusion. Now, back in the area, the introductions for the opening contest are taking place.

Tiara James vs. Zayda Steel

There were no memorable spots in this match; however, it was decent for two newcomers who are green and still developing. The ending came when James performed a double-arm DDT to pick up the three count and victory.

Result: Tiara James defeats Zayda Steel

We then go to a Calling video package with Rickey Shane Page talking. The package briefly showed the ongoing feud between the Second Gear Crew and The Calling. A video then airs for MLW Slaughterhouse on October 14 on FITE+.

Backstage, Jimmy Lloyd was sick and hanging over a trashcan. He tells Mance Warner he’s trying to make weight to qualify for the middleweight division. Warner starts talking to psych up Lloyd.

Next, Salina de la Renta drops her big announcement that Rocky Romero will challenge Akira for the MLW Middleweight Championship at MLW Slaughterhouse on October 14th. Introductions are now given for the next match.

Triple Threat Match: Kevin Blackwood vs. TJ Crawford vs. Alec Price

Price and Blackwood start the match by teaming up on Crawford and quickly get him out of the ring. Blackwood and Price then proceeded to fight each other.

The action picked up in the match when Blackwood hit Price with a Death Valley Driver for a near fall. Crawford comes back and puts Blackwood in a triangle that Blackwood powers out of.

In the closing moments, a man dressed in black and wearing a hood ran out and attacked Price. Back in the ring, Blackwood jumped from the top rope into the Silver Bullet from Crawford, who was waiting for him. Crawford gets the three count and victory.

Result: TJ Crawford defeats Kevin Blackwood & Alec Price

After the match, Sam Laterna attempts to interview TJ Crawford, but Kevin Blackwood interrupts to say he doesn’t know who that person in black was. The man in black then attacked Blackwood from behind—Alec Price and the masked man double-team Blackwood. The masked man reveals himself as Tony Deppen. Blackwood needed assistance to the back after the attack.

Next, Sam Laterna interviews Ichiban with his translator. The translator said that Ichiban wants to become the number one middleweight in all of pro wrestling.

A video airs on Mister Saint Laurent and his World Titan Federation. It was hinted that Mister Saint Laurent is getting a promoter’s license, which could mean he is building a rival promotion within MLW.

Matt Cardona is backstage in MLW’s social media center. He talks about taking fan questions live but is interrupted by Maki Itoh. Mance Warner then shows up and attacks Cardona.

We go to the MLW Slaughterhouse Control Center. The matches for the card are:

  1. Spin the Wheel, Make the Deal Match For MLW National Openweight Championship: Rickey Shane Page (c) vs. 1 Called Manders
  2. Chamber Of Horrors Match: Mance Warner & Matthew Justice from SGC vs. Gas Masked Henchmen members of The Calling
  3. MLW Featherweight Championship: Delmi Exo (c) vs. B3CCA
  4. Jacob Fatu vs. Minoru Suzuki
  5. MLW Heavyweight Championship: Alex Kane (c) vs. Davey Boy Smith Jr.

Then Dombrowski announces that MSL will make an announcement later in the show related to the BFC. Next, we go to the entrances and introductions for the main event.

MLW Middleweight Championship Street Fight: Akira (c) Vs. Jimmy Lloyd

Jimmy Lloyd paid tribute to Terry Funk by putting a ladder around his neck and spinning the ladder around to hit Akira. Later, Akira uses a knife on Lloyd’s forehead and then jabs it inside his mouth as we go to a commercial break.

Back from the break, Akira set up four chairs in the ring. RSP comes out to help Akira; however, Matthew Justice comes out to help Lloyd as he and Page fight to the back. Both wrestlers stood on the chairs set up earlier in the ring. Akira hits a DDT off the chairs to pick up the pinfall win.

Results: Akira defeats Jimmy Lloyd to retain his championship

To close out the show, Mister Saint Laurent is sitting at his desk. MSL said they will soften Alex Kane before his match with Davey Boy Smith Jr. at Slaughterhouse by having him face a mystery opponent. MSL said it is a big opponent, and he hopes Kane is ready.
