Last night, Danni Bee became the new New Texas Pro Women’s Champion by defeating Vert Vixen in the main event of Texas Contenders Series 25.

Vert won the title back in May from Hyan and had 2 successful title defenses, one against Gisele Shaw and the other in a triple threat match against Amaris Blair and Raychell Rose.

Bee becomes the fifth holder of the championship. The previous title holders read like an all-star roster of women’s wrestlers from Texas; Hyan, Raychell Rose, Rok-C, and Vert Vixen.

Bee will not have much time to celebrate her title win because on Sunday, at New Texas Pro’s 5-Year Anniversary show Danni Bee will face Raychell Rose. It has just been announced as a title match. You have to figure that Rose would love to make this a short title reign for Bee and capture the New Texas Pro Women’s Championship for the third time.

I have watched wrestling all of my life, from WWF and NWA to ECW and then indie shows. I have been steadily going to independent wrestling shows since 2002.
