PWG Announces Hiatus Until Further Notice

Pro Wrestling Guerrilla made an official announcement on Twitter regarding the status of future events for the company. 

Super Dragon recently tweeted on PWG’s page, saying, “I know a lot of you have been wondering what is going on with PWG and why there haven’t been many events this year. My girlfriend has been very sick and battling an aggressive cancer since earlier this year. It’s been incredibly difficult for me to focus on anything else.”

He would go on to say that things took a turn for the worse, and he needed to take some time away from wrestling. There will be no more PWG events this year, and they will return as soon as possible in 2024. Dragon closed by thanking everyone for their support.

The promotion ran three events this year, with the last event being “Mystery Vortex” on August 13th.
